My brother gave me the edamame keychain in my stocking a few Christmasses ago. And we had all gotten each other Hexbugs that same year, too. They're not weird, they're awesome.

This year he got the Hexbug spider in his stocking. A fun time was had by all. That thing was cool.

/we didn't know we were weird Japan toy people, but according to this article, I guess we are.

I think there used to be an arcade game where you do exactly that. I think it was called Bongo Bongo. It had a posterior and a glove as your...*ahem*...interface. I'm at work, there's no way I'm going to try to google it for you.

Is it my imagination or do those dolls not especially look like those people.

I had something like this brought back for me as a souvenir from some place. The dog went absolutely nuts when the ball-like object vanished into the floor.

My sister got a Hexbug to bother her cats. They're still not sure what the heck it is.

Whatever, those are awesome. Although I'm sure the poor edamame would end up being eaten one of these late drunken nights.

It's Japan, they only need to make two models of the dolls.
