I'm all for disagreeing with someone politically, but statements such as "The mask is fully off. Barack Obama is the most corrupt, power-mad president in this nation's illustrious history" strike me as over-hyped rubbish. The most corrupt? Really? That badge of honor probably goes to Nixon.

Ahhh... I've almost missed the hyperbolic, knee-jerking, clunkabouts of the American Thinker. At some point, you'd almost hope they'd wake up and realize just what a sad collection of dishonest, trollish hacks they truly are.

2012-01-06 08:29:55 AM
To be honest, these articles don't phase me anymore....well, except for one thing that bothers me.

It's one thing to say "Hey, the people in power right now suck and their philosophies are messed up, but here are MY new and improved ideas".

You lose any credibility when you end with "So, Republicans, let's get back in there and take it over again"

If you really are against government, be against it for what both parties do wrong. Truly try and make a difference. But, he won't.

2012-01-06 08:31:38 AM
Well I disagree.

Andrew Jackson ignored court orders and used the military to uproot thousands of people on a death march to Oklahoma.

Interesting article, but I think he is giving him credit for much more intelligence that he actually has. Obama's path to the destruction of the United States is more along the lines of bumbling incompetence.

Ah yes, but you are missing one critical point. Andrew Jackson wasn't black.

Hell, John Adams made it a crime to publish false, scandalous, and malicious writing against the government or its officials

I'm confused- is Obama a bumbling, incompetent moron who's leading us on a path to destruction because he's too busy watching Big Momma's House to pay attention to the problems of the country or is he the evil mastermind of a plot to take over the entire world and sell America to the UN?

Which is it today?

2012-01-06 09:42:26 AM
It would be helpful for their cause if the people spouting this crap would throw in an example every now and then. I have a neighbor that sounds just like this, and when I asked him specifically what Obama has done, he just spluttered and told me I was uninformed.

I blame Limbaugh.

Yet why are the media, or the opposition party, or the members of Congress or the judiciary not shouting from the highest hilltop and taking action to stop these power-grabs?

Apparently he doesn't get CSPAN. Obama can't even take a dump in a public restroom without the Teatard congress screaming SOCIALISM for 3 days.

Sure, it's clear to see that Obama is worse than Hitler, Pol Pot, Genghis Kahn, Idi Amin, and Jimmy Carter combined, but to say that nobody has noticed or complained is a bit hyperbolic.

I'm actually glad you did this, because by hotlinking not one, but two images in a single post, you've proven that you're probably not completely retarded enough to believe your previous statement, meaning that you have risen above the rank of pondering tard to rest firmly at trollish asshat.

Excellent work. 2012 is going to be a big year for you.

Yes, Obama is the most lazy, incompetent unqualified empty suit to ever single-handedly tear down the centuries old foundations of this great nation with his do-nothing policies.

The Senate claiming to be in session when they are all back in their home districts for the holidays is like a Cleveland store owner claiming his shop is open when the lights are off, the door is locked, and he is vacationing in Florida.

when my dad had a bad day at work, he would come home and go to his basement workshop. he'd bang nails into wood or saw sh*t into pieces until he had blown off steam. none of the stuff he made during those sessions was worth a sh*t, but it was good catharsis that allowed him to come back upstairs and happily hang out with his family. i feel like american thinker is steve mccann's basement workshop.

When did Nixon declare that Congress, despite being in session, wasn't in session and made 'recess' appointments? When did Nixon assassinate an American citizen? And while Nixon did use the power of the state to payoff campaign contributors, he's a mere piker compared to Obama-- look at Solyndra and the free goodies given to the UAW in the automaker bankruptcies. Obama is the first resident of the White House who views himself as a the President of the Special Interests That Got him Elected rather than the President of the American People, and that's veered into thinking he's a king who can dole out favors without regard for the rule of law.

Article is spot on. 0bama and his biatch wife weren't proud of america until he became president. They could care less about everything this country stands for and they are happy about how bad they can sink the economy with their socialism

Let's not forget that those thousands of people weren't real AmericansTM.

I got into an argument at a LARP (yeah, yeah) with the cook who insisted he'd read the ENTIRE healthcare bill and that death panels were RIGHT THERE on page 58.

Being liberal and thus unsure of everything, I just kind of gave up the argument. I knew he was full of shiat, but couldn't prove it. :\

I don't agree with Obama's decision.

I also don't agree with the Republicans who vowed to block any appointment to the Bureau because they didn't like the law.

And I definitely don't agree with the ridiculous comparisons to Hitler.

Basically, both sides are bad, so vote Democratic.
