FTFA: Bob thought so much of her he started a collection jar outside his ice cream business to start a scholarship in her name. "She is the type of girl that is worthy of something like that."

In a few short weeks, he says it collected hundreds of dollars -- that was until someone decided to rip it off. "I could not believe someone would do something like that."

Excuse me? You had a collection jar with hundreds of dollars in it and are actually surprised that someone stole it? I'm sorry, but this is Southwest Florida. People here are breaking into occupied homes during broad daylight just to get a few bucks.

FTA: VENICE, Fla. - Police have nabbed a suspect they say was stealing from the dead. Venice Police were looking for the person who stole a jar of money meant for a scholarship in the name of a Venice High School student who died recently.

Stealing from the dead trifecta in place.

Clearly a victimless crime. Also, you have the right to face your accuser. You're up recently deceased high school dude!

Word to the wise: Always ALWAYS take candy away from babies. It's completely OK to put honey on mom's nipples though.

She was an idiot kid who made a dumb decision and died a horrible death as a result. Cuz all of my choices were wise ones when I was 17. You must have been a f**kin' saint.

Not to mention she was also skipping school. So perhaps a series of unfortunate events? I had a friend die because a stupid girl ran a stop sign and he didn't lay his motorcycle down in time and was decapitated. I guess im jaded. Also dollarchain was a failure, i have since moved it to the street. Where i have a storm trooper like sweatshirt with zip up hood to replicate the mask. I hold a sign that says "unemployed, battle station destroyed, twice, anything will help". Since you will assuredly ask or berate me for being unemployed, it is because i blew the whistle on the construction company i was at for mishandling asbestos, and their refusal to provide proper safety equipment, like respirators, when dealing with it.

Well, sorry to hear about your job and good on ya for blowing the whistle. I have a special place in my heart for whistleblowers.

As for the girl in the accident, a veteran fireman of 20 years I know was one of the first responders and supervised the lifting of the vehicle to get her crushed body out from under. Worst thing he has ever seen is what he said and he is not prone to exxageration. The girl's family lives in the same subdivision that I do, although I have never met them and don't know quite where they live, but it sure has affected a lot of my neighbors.

Smart girl, dumbass mistake, outrageously expensive penalty. If this is how God doles out punishment, I should have been dead twenty times over by the time I hit 25.
