What the hell is that kind of coloring!?!

If that were a Guineapig, I would call that Agouti...which means the hair shaft is colored in bands...

Its almost like some kind of mutant siamese coloring. The points are normal, like a seal or chocolate (can't tell from the pic) but the gray body is unusual. The good news is, he'll be snapped up quickly when put up for adoption due to his looks :)

My grandmother had a two legged cat like that, her name was Tabby. She just scooted everywhere. It was a great cat.

Late again! Black ice has finally gone (was only here Mon, when we didn't go out). Been out to grocery, have put away perishables, non-perishables can wait. Figures by the time I get here, it's time to sign for the evening!
James72, tnx for your findings on the Internet. We may miss them once you decide it's time to let a feline run your life again, but that'll be a good day for you & for your feline supervisor. The young grey climbing the drawers looks very familiar; the moves, that is.

This is, actually was, Macavity (sp?), who until his fairly recent passing was the F.S. of my chorusmate Dina Scharnhorst, who's an EMT in real life. Dina reports that she's about to adopt another Maine Coon as soon as she can. She & her mother were able to go on a cruise to Australia & the South Seas before Christmas; Macavity went to the Bridge before they left, so she didn't have him to fret about. It may figure that Dina's a baritone (sometimes described as "notes that are left behind by all the other parts").
Tho the editing's done, I do have transcribing to do of the Intl women's amateur radio magazine directory edition, for my single Tape Topix subscriber, a young lady whose computer is fitted with JAWS (Job Access With Speech) that reads text files to her. This is quite a handy device for those who don't see.
But I do expect to be in at a truly decent hour in the daylit AM, as I always promise but don't always manage.

He's ok, but I'm afraid we only have a month or so left. He's back on steroids to try to shrink his tumor and is having trouble swallowing. But, he caught a lizard that came in the house on a plant yesterday, and he can still jump up on our bed at night. Just when we think the worst, he'll do something that surprises us -- he's a fighter.

Break my final of this eve to say Hey to yellowcat, & also to say to love up Barclay while you can. If he can be comfortable, that'll be good for both you & him.

Brought by professional_vampire. Fine print says "Because cats are always right, & Caturday is every day."

Aww, sorry to hear the prognosis, poor fellow. You never know though, he might beat the odds. Sounds like he's still able to have fun, and that's a very good thing. Keep fighting strong, dear Barclay, you are loved!
