Salem Witch: I love Steven.

Me, too. He was helping me fix the car just a minute ago. Turns out I needed sway bars and not a wheel hub, but he wanted to help either way. Drug out my good claw hammer and a crowbar for me, and I had to find some way to use them so I wouldn't hurt his feelings. Then I let him run the electric impact wrench to take off the wheels and he was good to go.

We fed ducks at the park while waiting on the right part to come from the warehouse. The Canada Geese wouldn't get any closer.

My typical view of Samson. How can a cat be so proud of his butt? Honestly.
Nothing like waking up to The Third Eye winking at you from a few inches away. *shudder*

In the kitty-world, he's offering you his business card, downloading a shiatload (no pun intended, honest!) of Twitter info and the 'family update' letter some people send during the Yule holiday.
Just letting you know how he's doing and what's going on in his life right now.

It does make me giggle sometimes watching the kitties get this info from each other...
t'other night I thought D'Artagnan wanted to make a feline centipede with Raven. He was sniffin', and she just...kept...walkin'.

Strangely, he's been much friendlier towards Raven since then...wonder what he smelled that changed his attitude.
And no, it isn't 'girl kitty in heat' pheromones...Raven was spayed over a month ago and her fur has all grown back.

That makes a lot of sense. Samson is a very sociable cat. Thanks! :)
/We get a lot of 'centipede parades' around here, too.

Well, we brought PIper and Kaida back from the shelter today. It's been about three weeks I think. Apparently, Piper has become bitey. We're hoping by spending more time with us, the first people they had contact with, we can continue to socialize her more. They both seem to remember being here and are mostly comfortable again. Kaida loooves pets and Piper seems back to normal, for her. She'll play a little and in a couple of days, we'll probably be back to where we were.
We were able to brush her and she would take food directly from your hand. We were just starting to steal sneaky pets when she wasn't paying attention.

Type at very ft of Lucky Pg 7, because I can, before diving back into sorting Rx receipts.
Spiralmonkey, when I finally achieved the MagicZoo website (one given on the card my pin's pinned to is Oh So Wrong!), I found that fortunately Merry the artist survives! Hop Along Cattiday actually spoke to her yesterday,. she said Merry said she recalls the FL Sw Adelines convention.
Have read the Good Reports on Cooper posted by Mrs CDK, for which Tnx. Nosey Minds want to know! The poor-puppy Fail dog even looks sad; should be inside where it's warm instead of out in the snow with a cat smirking in its doghouse.
L33t Squirrel, tnx for bringing the cat-ears-in-hair redhead with cat & the link. Never saw any of her work before; a bit similar to Haruko_'s methinx.
& Mock26, I also save appropriate comments (like yours) as well as linx to interesting places, along with URLs that go with. I'll need to re-save Michiko pic with her name on it.

ashinmytomatoes: And someone last week posted a pic of them with a kitty when they were little in the 1960s so here is one of me with kittens in the 1970s...

Cute! I can't tell how many kittens you have there exactly, but you look like you're in paradise.

Here is a picture of me in the 70s (can you tell by the curtains and upholstery? yeesh!) with my best pal, our siamese cross, Morris.

i870.photobucket.com

He was a good cat. My mom trained him and his sister Susie to jump up and sit on you when you patted your lap. Also he secretly helped me eat all my green peas, I'd sneak them to him under the dinner table, it was a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Heh, I had the opposite reaction; when I first say Haruko's work, I went, "wait, that looks similar to that other person's stuff. o_O" It's the watercolors, I don't see them used very often, so that medium tends to jump out at me. :)

I love the racing stripes on Kaida's forelegs. The expression on her face makes her look a bit like she just tasted a lemon. :)

Beautiful sweeties, both of them. Best of luck taming the bitey-ness.

Would the shelter arrange a visit to your place for potential adopters? Piper and Kaida might just have been getting antsy living in a kennel at the scary impersonal shelter. People looking for a new cat could get a better idea of those two's real personalities if they saw them relaxed and comfortable in your home instead. (Just a suggestion, pay me no mind if you've already considered this.)

Tabbacat, you rate this
i42.tinypic.com

for taking Piper & Kaida back home from the shelter. Sounds as if you'd fostered them previously. Kaida looks at least partially Maine Coon-ey, & naturally Piper's good lookin' too.
Doubt very much that I have anywhere that I can find, pix of me as a child with the only cat I ever bought (tho considering the boarding bills after the attempted spay that it was found been done previously, Piiki is surely the priciest cat who's ever let us live with her).
L33t Squirrel, it's only fair that you'd think Haruko_'s work resembles the other's, because you saw the other's first. Vice versa for me.
Back to the Rx receipts for a while.

L33t Squirrel: Wheeee. Just spent a while backing up data and doing clean-up on dead/useless files. My system is a bit less cluttered and my files a bit more safe! :)

Oh, I was going through my DevArt inbox and found this:

[fc08.deviantart.net image 600x848]

I'm quite partial to this artist's work, and found her some years before I ever found DevArt. Her page can be found here, and pops neatly into a new window.

...Now if I can just remember if it's F3 or F7 that lets me boot into safe mode, so that I can clean those last two *EXTREME PROFANITY* Flash remnants off of my second hard drive. Screw you so hard with a rusted, spiked pole, Adobe, for being such douchebags about trying to remove old and useless files, SCREW YOU.
