Be fair, subby. Palin never had to bleach her hair.

Safe money is on Marcus bailing on that sham marriage by summer.

I think it's time for a younger, hotter right wing congresswoman to start making headlines.

Well, when Rick Santorum takes the oath of office in 2012, he can appoint her Secretary of Health and Human Services.

If you read that sentence more than three times, your eyes will bleed.

dahmers love zombie: when Rick Santorum takes the oath of office in 2012

Funny thing, if Santorum were to win, the wingnuts would probably complain that he had to wait till Jan 20 of 2013.

At the very least, if she does stay in the House, she should be removed from the Intelligence Committee. At several points during the campaign, she was quite possibly leaking information she would have gotten as a member of that committee that she has sworn to keep secret. Assuming, of course, she wasn't totally making up shiat, like that bullshiat "Some random woman told me that the HPV vaccine turned her kid into a retard" story that I don't believe for a second.

Michele Bachmann's decision to end her presidential campaign leaves the Minnesota Republican with another big one: whether to seek a fourth term in the U.S. House or direct her newfound political celebrity elsewhere.

I already thought she stopped representing MN

MAKE IT STOP!!! That's worse than mentioning girls with cups, and "goat" related images. I can't believe he really is the second best candidate the GOP has come up with (at least according to one caucus).

"I don't think she'll run for re-election," Kent Kaiser, a Minnesota GOP operative who supports Mitt Romney for president but remains a Bachmann fan, wrote in an email to The Associated Press. She could try instead for an appointment in a new Republican administration, he wrote, or consider a potentially lucrative spot on the speaking circuit.

Ha ha ha, so so confident.

She could try instead for an appointment in a new Republican administration

So at least four years of unemployment? Cool, maybe she'll start to understand the issues the rest of the country is facing.

With all the stuff she's put out there even a total Farkhat like me could take her place! I even have such gems under my name such as:

Jesus was gay.
I'm racist, what about it?
Christians can go burn in their own hell for all I care.
What are you stupid?

Accepting campaign twinkies to the left!

stpauler: I already thought she stopped representing MN

As a the Representative of the 6th District - she has been incredibility bad at it. But since most of her district is made up of remote Twin City suburbs filled with boot strappy and evangelical type folks - it ends up working in her favor.

The biggest upside of her campaign for president.

Yeah! The most awesome part of all this stupidity is that when the dust settles, Bachmann is still going to be the Congresswoman from Minnesota, and Rick farkING Perry is still going to be the governor of my home state, and that's not going to change anytime soon.

But after months in the national spotlight of the presidential race, she could determine she'd be more influential in a different role.

She got 5% of the votes in crazy town. Crazy town. How is she influential?

It''s amazing how many former and potential Republican candidates and other politicians that FNC has employed.

I mean, I guess the amazing thing is how little of a pretense they make about using the network to groom GOP candidates and use it as a platform to launch their campaigns.

Conservatives say that FNC is just a counterbalance to the supposedly liberal "mainstream media" but that's not true. Could you imagine if MSNBC employed Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich, Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson, and John Kerry all at the same time? Because that is basically what Fox does.

Bachmann would be heavily favored to keep her seat in the Republican-leaning 6th District

...because there is apparently an abundance of lead paint there.

Remember when the internet tried to turbocharge the campaign of her Dem challenger in 2008? The dude with the funny name.

Hell, I chipped in a few bucks.

As I recall, despite being an token, uninspiring candidate in a heavily Republican district, he actaully performed pretty well after the explosion of internet cash.

From 1989 to 2010, Noem received 27 traffic citations, including 20 for speeding, as well as several for stop sign and seat belt violations, and no driver's license. She also received failure to appear notices, and two arrest warrants were issued.
