I gotta go with the field and say that the Swiss Guards uniform is all kinds of awesome.

MLB managers get paid more than enough to tolerate their uniform. Part of a bad uniform is the humiliation of not making a decent wage.

Postal workers look fine, sure it is not the latest in contemporary hipster-trash, but really, what the hell is wrong with tucking your shirt in?

Door-to-door mormons are too busy thinking about what they will name their future planet/spirit baby making factory to give a crap about their gear.


Things that come to my mind:
1) the old Navy dungarees, the kind with the denim jeans with two tiny front pockets that was phased out somewhere around 98. One of the worst uniforms in the free world.
2)The poor fools who have to work at Hotdog On A Stick. Reminds me of the Vatican guard, minus the halberd and sub-machine gun.

Doesn't the fact that pretty much everyone in here agrees that members of the Swiss Guard are badass highlight just how embarrassing the uniforms are? Just because they could kick all of our asses at once doesn't mean that their work attire isn't at least a little bit silly.

What they are saying, is that they are so bad, they don't need to some black uniform with little skulls on it to look bad. In fact they can wear these poofy uniforms and still be super bad, they are that bad.

MLB managers where those uniforms out of tradition. There used to be a team captain instead of a manager (the manager in the early days was a finance guys, not a coach). Baseball is one of the few sports where the coach/manager routinely goes on the field of play instead of calling time outs and bringing players in, so it makes more sense.
