Of course the woman couldn't possibly have been in shock. No, she was just too impaired from drinking or doing drugs.

Freaking medical personal have huge prejudice when it comes to alcohol. The second they can explain away symptoms with alcohol impairment suddenly they see no need to actually do their job.
