Not sure why, but this reminds me of the time Adrian Beltre got hit in the nads with a short hop while not wearing a cup. He had a ruptured testicle. Well, he goes on the DL, and his first game back apparently Ken Griffey Jr. pays off the stadium announcer to play something from "The Nutcracker" on Beltre's way up to bat.

That was amusing and fun. You know what wasn't amusing and fun? Tonight's game. The Knicks made the farking Bobcats look like a juggernaut. No effort on D at all. And for some reason Gerald Henderson, Boris Diaw, and Boris Diaw's Extra 40 Pounds couldn't miss a shot. I realize this is a D'Antoni team, but at least do something.

That said, I'm in on Iman Shumpert. Dude's absolutely fearless.

Even by D'Antoni standards it was appalling.

Still. Shump and Marshon Brooks means that basketball in NY will be interesting for the forseeable future.
