His summary of the presidential candidates and of Congress is not far off the mark.
That said, while I have heard OF the band, I've not heard their music. And of course, he'll have about as much support staff on the ground in various states as Gingrich and other vanity candidates.. none.

(listens) Music is decent... harsh vocals aren't really my thing. Though that would make for interesting State of the Union addresses.

I got to meet Randy once. His side project band at the time (Halo of Locusts) played in a tiny bar here in Indy and he was chilling on a stool before the music started. I just shook his hand, told him I appreciated the music him and his band have been making the last 10 years. He said thanks and that he hoped I'd enjoy the show. This was after LoG had already taken off pretty well, so it was kind of surreal seeing a grammy-nominated guy at a bar that had probably 50 people in it to see the band.
yeah, i know. cool story bro.

I'm amazed it's taken him this long to pen something in this fashion. Though, this could have been attributed to two records driven by pure hatred for the Bush administration--
As the Palaces Burn
and
Ashes of the Wake.
He'd never win, but it'd be a helluva campaign to watch.

While this isn't a clever 'play on song titles' post, Boot Scraper would work quite well to get the hard working lower/middle class vote.
Voting him into office could be the beginning of a New American Gospel though.

You know why Rollins would never be president, other than the fact he won't run?
Because he doesn't take an ounce of shiat from anyone. Rollins as president? I'd vote for that in a heartbeat, and the entire nation would be better off if he won.
