I'll be watching for Jon Lovitz throwing him a big ol' party with lots of drugs and booze after he's been clean and sober for a few years...

Phil Hartman was ten million times the comedian, and the human being than Dick could ever be.

Yup, but Andy is still hilarious in sitcoms, and I can't get too upset at farked up people being farked up.

Andy Dick is beyond ridiculous, but when he went on the WTF podcast with Maron he seemed...human. I actually kind of felt for him. It's an older episode though, so one would have to pay to hear it.

Mega Steve: John Lovitz leaving him in a big puddle of blood?

You know, if Jon Lovitz finally hit his breaking point and completely annihilated Andy Dick, I don't think there's a jury in the world who'd convict.

I've always liked John Lovitz. he really was one of my favorites from that cast of SNL. and if you ask me, maybe its a generational thing.. that cast was probably the best cast outside of the original cast.. and in a lot of ways better. Phil Hartman being one of the biggest reasons..

When I found out that he had beat the snot out of Andy Dick, I was very happy. When I found out WHY he beat the snot out of Andy Dick? Well, my respect for the man grew ten times more. that day.

Bless you John Lovitz. for everything that you do.

Celebrity. Death. Pool.

I hope it's a big year for him as well. It's mostly wishful thinking that caused me to add him to my death pool.

You can't say he wasn't hilarious in newsradio.

As far as not getting too upset, he's a drug addict. I tend more towards the pity side of things than anything else with addicts.

Jon Lovitz beats up 'ole Andy over Hartman's death?

/Hopefully Jon got in a head-slam for me

I'm surprised he survived 2011. The guy always seems to be a couple lines away from an OD. :-\

"I can scream, 'I'm sober!' till the cows come home, but the proof is in the pudding," he told "Inside Edition. "I've had some hardcore bottoms ... . The darkest place I've been is to have had suicidal thoughts. I am not a suicidal guy. I'm a happy, upbeat, loving guy."

I bet he has.

In August 2011, Dick was a guest on Greg Fitzsimmons radio show on Sirius XM Satellite Radio and gave an anti-semitic rant directed towards Howard Stern. He labeled Stern a "money grubbing Jew" as well as repeatedly calling him a "hook-nosed Jew".

Did i read somewhere that his middle name was "Suxamean"...or is that a nickname?

I guess that means he won't be in any Hebrew Hammer sequel

Unpleasant and racist? Yet he wonders why he is having difficulty finding work.

THIS on all accounts.

BTW, for SNL, it's not a generational thing at all. They were easily my favorite cast and definitely tied with the original cast as my opinion of the best cast.

It's just so damn infuriating whenever I think about the fact that Hartman is dead but that sniveling little weasel Dick is still alive. Sure I found him funny on Newsradio, but I thought he was the weakest link on the show by far.

/I know I should have pity, but I just can't find it in my heart to pity the fool.
//I'd gladly pay $50 to a charity to punch Andy Dick in the face
