annnnnnnnd once the IRS gets done taking their $400K cut, Darryl gets to pay income tax on that too since it's deferred income from his Mets playing days.

Charisse and the Mets finally agreed last month to let the IRS take its cut first -- but since the Mets are only doling out $8,891 a month in Darryl's name ... it'll be at least until 2016 before Charisse sees a penny.

What's more -- it's unclear how much the Mets owe Darryl in total ... so it's possible Charisse will ultimately end up with a fraction of what Darryl promised to pay her

I used to work in a sporting goods store here in Tampa a couple of years ago. His wife and daughter would bring in bats, gloves, ect from his days with the Mets and Yankees and try to sell it to us. Amazing how people can have such sh*tty attitudes while they are begging for money.

It was a so nice to see how the mighty have fallen.
