I can think of three reasons why this is a good idea. One, he's from Texas. Two, he's a moron. And three he's... um... he's... hold on, I've got this... um

Perry just hasn't been himself since Russell Brand dumped him.

You mean "suspend" his campaign, so he can still collect money from the rubes.

WHERE'S YOUR GOD NOW RICK???

Which is likely what Bachman is going to do as well.
At least until she has enough name recognition to become a high priced media whore like Palin anyway.

I hope Perry stays in the race. We need the lulz.

I heard Fox News is planning their own knockoff of The View:

Is this the Rick we've come to know so well? Is this the candidate that was against quitting before he was for, was it was before he was before, from the standpoint of he was for, uh, standing up for not being a quitter, before he was against quitting, he was for winning. We'll have to wait and see which Rick Perry we're dealing with here.

I think in America from time to time we have to go through some difficult times - and I think we're going through those difficult economic times for a purpose, to bring us back to those Biblical principles of you know, you don't spend all the money. You work hard for those six years and you put up that seventh year in the warehouse to take you through the hard times. And not spending all of our money. Not asking for Pharaoh to give everything to everybody and to take care of folks because at the end of the day, it's slavery. We become slaves to government.

Hopefully takes Texas with his campaign.

How to secede in politics without really trying?

/Got nothing.

Meh, Romney won Iowa and he's 24 pts ahead in NH. Paul, Gingrich and Huntsman are running 2nd,3rd and 4th respectively there. Perry, along with Frothy and Batshiat barely have a pulse and you can expect to see all three drop out soon with their voting blocks mostly bleeding into Paul's campaign.

Perry's campaign was over pretty quickly after he opened his corn dog hole at those GOP debates and a whole lot of nothing spewed out.

Whoa whoa whoa. What makes you think we want him back? Hell, the past few months have shown that Texas doesn't need him anyway. We got roughly the same amount of shiat done than we did when he was here.

Good riddance to that traitorous fark. The fact that a pants shiatting retard like this was even in the running for the presidency reflects very poorly on this country.

Secession? Yeah we settled that some time ago, Rick. Maybe we didn't leave enough of the south in ashes to send a permanent message?

2012-01-04 05:38:08 AM
Maybe he should have used McSame's theme of "I'm not Shrubya Bush". Oh wait, he is, only dumber (if that's possible)

Dumbass talentless ex-college cheerleader wants to be President?

Nah, I saw the original, it sucked ASS. Plus, I keep getting bills for it.

2012-01-04 05:47:48 AM
what gets me is this.

Did he really really think he was going to be president?

The mere fact that he was stupid enough to beleive this idea was, in and of iteself, enough to not vote for him.

Rick Perry thinking he could be presidnt is like some kind of circular derp black hole of reasoning.... divided by zero.

Why not? W got to be president and he's a low-functioning retard. (I can't beleive anyone was stupid enough to vote for that man.)

How about ''Over-paid Under-sexed Pandering Big-haired Faked-Tittied coonts with Dried-Out Vaginas Spew Racial Hatred While Cankerous Weasel Feces and Gibbon shiat fall from their Lying Mouths" It will be geared at Southern racists, 'persecuted' white fundamentalists, scared old people and Orwellian propagandist... Yes, there's a certain ring to ''Over-paid Under-sexed Pandering Big-haired Faked-Tittied coonts with Dried-Out Vaginas Spew Racial Hatred While Cankerous Weasel Feces and Gibbon shiat fall from their Lying Mouths" It's either that or something clever like 'Chit Chat' or 'Girl Talk'. It's a popularity contest, not a well thought out decision that most voters make. People want to think "I'd have a beer with that guy", not "I'd trust that guy with our nation's military, economy and nuclear weapons." It's all about likability and damnit, old Dubya had it. Obama has it too, but at least he's not a dummy.

I don't know about the rest of you mongoloids... But I remember watching 'Animal House' at college and I remember saying to myself. 'Damn, That Doug Niedermeyer is gonna make a fine President one day'.

Killed in Viet Nam by his own troops.

Get thee to Texas. There's gotta be some rain to pray-up down there or a retard that needs a lethal injection.

Shouldn't Gingrich be doing this as well? Or is he somehow reassured by the fact that McCain came in fourth in 2008, too?

Rick Perry ....another potential Fox News Anal-list coming soon to your parent's television. He was like George Bush without the brains or personality. But Texas, It looks good on you though.

Ok, you religious farks - GOD told him to run for President.
So if he drops out does that mean god is wrong again?
Also - Is Perrys' god the same god that got that Nazi reject to be named Pope or is that the othe One True God?
/if Mitt wins the nomination will that prove that god is a moron or just the voters?

Everyone talks about the debate performances doing him in. The truth is Perry had a horrible rollout right from the beginning. His prayer rally in Houston was poorly attended, no other politician showed up, his speech was unmemorable, and worst of all, George Will, who has lately looked increasingly senile, praised him to the hilt. Alos, he was the last one in the race, which should tell you he never really had a great "ground game" to start with.

God may have told Perry to run for President. I hear God likes a good laugh now and then, and Perry is a pretty big joke, all things considered.

//Obviously, this just means that Perry failed God and will face his wrath on judgment day - Perry'll have to live in a hell dictated solely by his own stated ideals.

I was watching Fox News yesterday around lunch time, and they pointed out that Ronald Reagan (piss be upon him) lost the 1980 Iowa Caucus.

I do not know if they mentioned this because they weren't 100% sure Romney would win, or if they knew he would but wished he wouldn't.

Is this a surprise? I campaigned hard for Rick Perry but he cannot win a general election. Honestly, if you don't read and master the combined works of Nietzsche and Baudrillard, you don't have a chance of understanding what Perry is trying to say, and he's not going to dumb it down for you. That's what I liked about Perry. He shoots simulacras and doesn't afraid of anything.

Heh... Good. Texas is where that jackass belongs.

Good. That's one fundamentalist down.
Hopefully Bachmann will be next.

Then, maybe Santorum after that. Though not anytime soon. He'll probably gain some traction first after almost winning in Iowa. Just not in New Hampshire.

They don't go for the religious fundamentalists in New England, generally. Except Bush, but that was probably because his family was from Maine and his father wasn't much into the religious stuff..

Awwwww....and he was one of their best too at one time.

Funny and scary what this party would put this country in the hands of. Good conservative values at work.

2012-01-04 07:33:33 AM
His votes go to Santorum. Mittens still can't get over 25% and actually received fewer votes in Iowa than he did in 2008. It's Mittens to lose but, if the others get out soon and their support coalesces behind one guy NOT name Romney? Could make things interesting.

New Hampshire is Romney's, but he's going to have a tough time in South Carolina with all the Evangelicals.
If Santorum does well in South Carolina, Romney's going to have a fight on his hands.

'Course, Santorum's a Catholic, so the Evangelicals are going to have to figure out which flavor of Christianity they hate more, I guess...

Who cares? The race boils down to: Ron Paul versus the status quo. Take your pick.

ramblinwreck: I thought we were talking about Perry, not Romney...

Romney's neither theocratic or a lunatic.
I mean, he's a fake bastard who flip-flops on the issues depending upon who and when he's talking. Sure, he's a Mormon, but he generally doesn't even bring up his religion (because he knows it can hurt him).

If he was a theocrat, there's no way he would have been Governor of Massachusetts.
