Still anyones game...

Whoops, that was the old one, still, the percentages are pretty much the same, though Santorum now has a slight edge on Romney.

stevenvictx: There is no way in hell the republicans will let Ron Paul win. Being the fact that Ron Paul is very anti military.

Anti-military complex.

It means a 5 way race with single vote balloting produces some pretty interesting artifact.

Now if we moved to approval balloting, you might actually get some meaningful results.

Sabyen91: Bearwhale: Sabyen91: tjsands1118: A Dark Evil Omen: Frederick: So who should college that want pot legalized support?

I think you accidentally that sentence there.

And the answer is any of the actual liberals out there instead of a right-wing extremist.

Yeah because it's not like Obama is rated the worst president on marijuana reform. At least if Paul gets to office he will be able to stop all crack down on STATE APPROVED cannabis activities, because if you haven't notice the FEDS keep shutting them down.

Pothead typing detected.

Moronic Prohibitionist detected.

I am not a Prohibitionist. I think it should be legal. I am not a stoned one-issue voter, though, so I guess I AM the enemy.

I'm also not a stoned "one-issue" voter, but you COULD make the argument that I'm a "FEW-issue" voter... I won't vote for a president who supports a federal ban on gay marriage, but I'm not gay. I also won't vote for someone who supports drug policy as it stands. And I won't vote for candidates that support SOPA or infinite detention, yet I'm neither a pirate nor a terrorist. If the candidate stands against me on any of those positions, I won't vote for them.

Can you all shut the fark up? He's far from the worst president on the issue.

That's debatable.

Meh, I'm voting for Gary Johnson anyway. He made the right move switching to the Libertarian party (which he really was all along).

2012-01-03 10:10:47 PM
HAHAHAHA!

Santorum is leading! Get frothy!

2012-01-03 10:10:51 PM

Chupacabra Sandwich: Car_Ramrod: To be honest, unless they went with Gary Johnson or John Huntsman, that would be the response for any of the candidates. It's like taking a dive into a sewer and being pissed you had to touch some used toilet paper. What did you think the outcome was going to be?

If they had gone with Gingrich or Romney or whoever else it just would have been
republicans being republicans. A lame candidate maybe, but at least a republican.

Ron Paul (and Bachmann) is a nutjob.

I think Gingrich would've been worse. In addition to being a bad candidate, he's truly a despicable excuse for a human being.

stevenvictx: There is no way in hell the republicans will let Ron Paul win. Being the fact that Ron Paul is very anti military.

I know, that's why I REALLY want Ron Paul to win. Fox News has spent the past 12 months just ignoring the fact that he even exists. Surveys would have him in 2nd place and Fox would rather talk about the people in 4th and 5th and not even mention him.

If Paul wins Iowa it would be the first time in years I would sit down and watch Fox News, just because I see everyone at Fox squirm as they have to say his name and acknowledge the fact that he exists.

Every other conservative who rose to the top imploded, leaving a void in the last week that could only be filled with Santorum.

Eww.

2012-01-03 10:12:01 PM

Guntram Shatterhand: ah, the interesting thing is that the Republicans have no clear frontrunner, nor does it look like these three men have a solid lead. All I know is that there's a three-way

what i find interesting is that Rick Santorum is doing so bad in a 3 way, i can say from personal experience once the third guy gets involved it greatly increases the amount of Santorum

/Rick Santorum

Marine1: Obama is not much better, fwiw.

No matter what you think of Obama the man or Obama the president, Obama was a farking dynamite candidate. Young, black, handsome, charismatic with a wife and two daughters. Just from an election perspective he was amazing.

The Obama model for a candidate is pretty much the only reason Bobby Jindal was ever viable.

Damn, the Romney column reads like a who's-who of all the Wall Street parasites that torpedoed our economy! Now I DEFINITELY don't want him for president!

I would think that the rank and file members of the military are tired of fighting for oil and politics. They get to see firsthand what happens when they go in and upset the way things have been run for generations to put in power some US shill.

2012-01-03 10:13:05 PM
If I were to abandon pragmatism and vote for Paul, it would be to give a big FU to every bought and paid for candidate out there, as well as to the lobbyist cabal, as well as to the big corps. Burn the farker down. America was founded on revolution and its long overdue for another one.

Then I remember I'm a rational human being, and will vote for the sober choice, who is undoubtedly Obama. Despite him not being what he promised in 2008, he is still light years better than anything the R's will be serving up. Again.

I think Obama would sign a gay marriage bill and a legalize marijuana bill if it crossed his desk. But Congress has to introduce and pass those bills.

sure he does. Not giving money to blacks and hating gay people

Someone remind me... exactly when did conservatives recognize that they had problems and then effect to get their shiat together?

I don't recall that happening.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

If you want to get America back on track, give it a strong democratic congress to work with President Obama. You can't stop Obama's re-election, but you can make government function again.

Conservatives are terroristically sabotaging the nation in an attempt to make Obama look bad. Are you going to reward that behavior?

I think that's why they're voting for him. So far, nothing big has happened to Santorum, and that's a plus given the brain trust the (R)'s are giving us. I haven't heard any ads on the radio about Santorum. Pro or con.

Can someone tell me about Santorum? I seriously know nothing about the guy. Just that he's now the leader by the "We'll seriously take anyone but Obama, Romney, or Paul!" account.

What's he all about?
