Rubio would be fun, just to get the birthers stirred up...

Which I'm sure the President would appreciate in his re-elect.

Exactly. The guy around the corner from me is a Teabagger/Birther. I once asked him if he ever did anything about Spiro Agnew's VP nomination and he looked at me as though I had two heads.

Him: "What does that have to do with anything?"
Me: "Well, Agnew's father was a foreigner & his mother was an American, just like Obama's situation..."
Him: "NO IT'S NOT! IT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT!"
Me: "It's different because you voted for Nixon w/Agnew on the ticket, anyway?"

The others are all light-weights compared to Christie

He's off to a nice start to his rookie season, but I think he's too young to be VP, and I don't think Spanish-born people are eligible.

Christie would be great.

A big nothing in a suit for president, and at least two and a half big somethings in a suit for vice president.

Over here, we have a male-affectionate, easy to get along with, non-political agenda lesbian. Down here, we have a man-hating, angry as fark, agenda of rage, bitter dyke. Over here, we got Santa Claus, and up here the Easter Bunny. Which one is going to get to the hundred dollar bill first?

The nice hot lesbian...

/In my dreams, of course

GOP brain trust. That's the rare triple oxymoron.

Yes GOP, miss the point entirely and go with the Teabagger darlings.

Palin wasn't a good choice, she was the kiss of death. Finding her equivalent for the 2012 election is not the answer.

Christie won't do it. Christie, as I've pointed out more than once, CAN'T do it, as New Jersey has this weird law that says the governor can't leave the state while in office. Every time he does, he has to sign over his powers. if he were out of the state on a long campaign, he'd have to resign.

/Also, he's going to run in 2016.

Ed Finnerty: The GOP what?

I've been having trouble trying to make sense of that phrase as well. :-/

Add Jeb and you have all the folks that should be running for the Repub nomination instead of the hucksters we have now. What's up with that?

Is Hilary Clinton running against Obama, then?

That's who started the whole birther thing in the first place, you know, during the Democratic Party primaries. Some Clinton staffers thought they could use it to cost Obama some votes.

It's funny how often those darned bigoted Republicans turn out to be bigoted Democrats.

Jeb's got too much crap in his past, and no one wants another Bush in the White House.

The republican nominee will be Huntsman, in a brokered convention. His running mate will be Rudy Giuliani.

I have spoken.

"Romney is likely to have to go right,"

Wait, he's going to have to go right for November? Seriously? He's already running right to try and get the base to trust him, since they obviously don't. Usually, candidates have to run towards the center for the general election. They think he needs to double down for the general election? They must really not want him to win...

Ayup, Hillary did it first. Now, do you remember what she did about the person who ran in 2008 who actually had an eligibility issue?

Thune? Who the hell is he? Never heard of him before.
/Glad to see someone is thinking clearly in the GOP.

I know the Thune family. John's dad was my P.E. teacher. They're nice folks actually. Does that mean I want John as President. Not really. We could do worse though.
