They were more of a hate-hate thing... except for the future timeline when they kill each other...

I'm never the "This list failed because they forgot blah blah blah" guy, but this list is completely invalid due to the lack of Lando and G'Kar.

Yeah, what was a very interesting friendship between Garibaldi and Londo ("Whatever it is, it can't be that bad...") died when Garibaldi came back from being programmed by PsiCorp.

But B5 was full of prickly relationships:Londo and G'Kar were hate, respect, political expediency, and in the end, pity. What chance they at friendship died with Londo's alliance with Morden. And it was truly painful to watch.

Thinking about it, JMS was not kind to his relationships. While Delenn and John got together, and Girabaldi got Lise as a reward for being so screwed over by Bester, everyone else painfully fell apart: Susan and Marcus, Zak and Lyta.

Though Marcus and Stephen..."..And that's when I shot him, your honor."

I assume the author meant, "...had Fox execs not been a bunch of brain dead realty show whores we would have seen this relationship come to fruition in season five or six."

I assumed that list would be topped by Spock/McCoy.

Ever wonder if the actors who play aliens resent the humans in the show? They have to go through hours of makeup every time they shoot, they sometimes have to learn pieces of a made up language or some stupid cultural ritual, and they don't get the perks of being famous because no one recognizes them out of costume.

It would kind of suck to be a sci-fi alien.

Quit your whining fanboi, nobody liked Firefly when it was on. Firefly's ratings were worse then Terra Nova.

Wow, a sci-fi list that is aware of the existence of Iain M. Banks and the Culture series. Impressive!

I really expected John Carter/Dejah Thoris. That would tie-in with the upcoming movie, since Io9 are such whores.

Osomatic: Wow, a sci-fi list that is aware of the existence of Iain M. Banks and the Culture series. Impressive!

Not really, they're wrong in pretty much every detail (there's a shock for io9).

Lededje didn't find herself on the Falling Outside the Normal Moral Constraints. She woke up on the GSV Sense Amid Madness, Wit Amid Folly, while the Mind which actually saved her life was the eccentric Me, I'm Counting.

Also Falling Outside the Normal Moral Constraints never really tried to control her (at least not overtly) and they didn't really have a love hate relationship, they got on very well.

For an Iain M. Banks love hate relationships Horza and Balveda or Cheradenine and Dizzy would both be better references, never mind the absolute mother which was Dajeil and Genar-Hofoen (and Sleeper Service).

A fair point - it's been so long since I read any of the Culture books that I'd quite forgotten. Still, just the fact that they know of the series and have even apparently read one of the books puts this list miles ahead of most lists about sci-fi.
