It's supposed to go down to 13 degrees here tonight.
I won't be gazing at any stars or meteors or anything else outside.

That is one of the weakest greenlights I've seen in a very long time.

I'm tempted, but it's going to be pretty damned cold tonight, and I don't know of a good spot around here for star-gazing anyhow. :-(

Thudfark: I've managed to see two fireballs and a good shooting star in the last 16 months standing outside having a smoke.

Me too...been hoping for more of that aurora too, since it ain't typical in these parts.
I got lots of fairly dark sky, but I would like to know which way to look so I know which porch to smoke on...southern KY here..help? These articles are always fairly lacking in that, and the websites that tell you are usually kind of sloppy and aren't much help, either.

I'm attending a meatier swarm next week in Vegas at Texas de Brazil. Now THAT is a meatier swarm.

It's about 2am here. Big meh - couple small ones in the last 1/2hr or so.
For you guys complaing about the COLD - it's Freezing here (mid 70s) so HA!HA!

North Carolina. It was a bust here too. Back to warm snuggly bed now.

Went out at 3:00am (EST), saw two almost immediately, then nothing. Came in around 3:20 because it was too cold (7degreesF).

Woke up early, had hot chocolate brewing with a shot of rum and a splash of tia maria. Wrapped myself up in blankets and hit the balcony. After two hours of solid cloud cover, I gave up. Damn you England.
