Yep. I backpacked in SE Asia for two months some years ago and what amazed me was how many idiots would start doing things that they'd never do at home because they were on vacation. You hear a lot of horror stories in the area, but it's not like people would drive scooters without helmets or try strange drugs from strange people or walk down dark unfamiliar alleys at 2am at home.

Ugh. If you INSIST on getting ink done while on vacation bring your own damned needles and make SURE you see the artist put them on the gun. F*cking STUPID.

Had a friend who went to South America and got some work done... "yakno, just 'cause". I FLIPPED OUT on her. Hopefully she didn't catch anything.

Hell... I wouldn't trust even a first world parlor.

As a heavily tattooed gal, I just want to say needles aren't the only way for BBPs to be spread. Also, just because a needle comes out of a package doesn't mean it's been through an autoclave, or that it's new. And make sure you know how to tell if the clave is working before choosing to get anything from any location...

There's nothing funnier than witnessing your first scooter crash in a tropical environment. Mine was in Key West on a Sunday afternoon, guy decided he didn't think there needed to be a corner at the Southernmost Point marker. Good times, good times.

Haha there isn't I googled to see if there were any ink pictures. Most of mine I'm pretty proud of, and my artist is really gifted.
