Living in MA, I'm well aware of how useless Democrats can be, but I'll take them over the Republicans, who seem hell bent on making life even tougher for those of us in the lower middle class and obviously don't give a shiat about any American who isn't extremely wealthy.

Republicans want to give your hard earned money to corporations so they can hire you to pay you money to pay the government with. (In theory, anyway. Most of the corporations are corrupt money-grubbing idiots who don't follow through.)

It takes out the middle man, but in the long run, the corporations produce more. Either way, the government wants your money so that someone else can pay them too.

Hobodeluxe: Obama will be re-elected. The GOP have a huge enthusiasm gap to overcome. None of these candidates excite them. Those that might couldn't win a general. They've pretty much painted themselves into a corner with their extremism.

This. I'm a registered Republican and I'm truly not hearing anything earth-shattering out of these people. The only person who comes remotely close is Romney, but as a Masshole I'm smart enough to know how much of what he says is complete and utter bullshiat.
