Before they shut off comments to non-registered users, the website of the local rag was constantly threadbombed on this. The paper would stridently refuse to identify the race of a suspect unless the description was contained in a police report or bulletin... leading to threads containing stuff like "daquanne washington? sounds white/polish/italian/etc.".
