Love the song, even if though it's overplayed.

"the Innocent Age" is one of the last great concept album LP's.

(ok, some songs are crap, but 3/4's of it are great rock/pop/country)

Lot of folks whine about this song.

I like it.

Part of me wishes DF did metal.

I dunno about you, but for me, it's the wistful saxophone at the end blaring "Auld Lang Syne" that gets me teary.

/Never choked on a Lego however

a band i was in used to do this song and we had a snow machine that we ran through the whole song and ran some sprinkler units to the trusses for the "snow turned into rain" part... always got a reaction... the line "Just for a moment I was back in school" still gets me teary eyed

the crazy sax riff right at the end kinda spoils the bittersweet emotion for me... i feel so ghey right now...

I guess I'm a little biased towards the sax part since I played saxophone in high school and "Auld Lang Syne" is probably my favorite holiday song. Though the "back at school" part is a close second for me. Your band's show sounded pretty awesome.

/Not ghey, just in touch with emotions. I think we all have that one song that does it to us.

Victoly: WHO THE DICKENS IS DAN FOGERBURP?

Came here to post this. Glad I'm not the only one who thought of Bloom County.

You kids with your loud music, and your Dan Fogleberg, your Zima, hula hoops and pac-man video games, don't you see? People today have attention spans that can only be measured in nanoseconds!

jigger: You kids with your loud music, and your Dan Fogleberg, your Zima, hula hoops and pac-man video games, don't you see? People today have attention spans that can only be measured in nanoseconds!

Can someone summarize this sentence for me? Maybe using an emoticon?
