The last part isn't in the linked story, but yeah, that's part of how they tracked the idiot down. And she's getting it back Monday

No Mike, we want the criminals to be that dim. That type of skell make the police look good.

My mother's car was stolen. It was left parked, operable, and undamaged but police policy is to tow it before notifying the owner so they can charge the owner to get it out of impound. They didn't care who stole it.

You know who else had her car stolen? That's right: subby's mom.

Your mom should have stolen the car full of stolen goods, then. Equitable trade.

When you're already wanted for trying to run over a cop in a stolen truck

Why was the cop in a stolen truck?

Mine was found in another state, covered in blood. The police paperwork lied about where it was found, and they didn't bother with fingerprints/checking out who the blood belonged to.

At least I had full coverage.

Are we talking Zombies? Because, I'm ready. I read the survival guide and everything. Max Brooks and I are almost best friends. I've seen all his dad and mom's movies.

The cops found my truck a few miles from my place, full of stolen goods. They were going to let me drive off with it, stolen stuff and all, until I asked if they perhaps wanted the evidence? They seemed pretty annoyed at having to deal with that, sadly. ;-/

A friend of mine had a 78 Chevy Caprice. It could be stolen with a screwdriver, and it had been stolen 5 times. Basically they drove it until it ran out of gas. Fortunately the St. Louis cops were good (at the time) and would call him and let him come pick it up.

It had an alarm on it (the type with the round key that was on the side of the car), and every time he forgot to set it, it was stolen.

MadMonk: A car once stole my mom.

It took her over an hour ta think of that story last night, which is more time than we spent in the sack. And I must say that it explains your lack of imagination, Trebek.

So I'm glad that subby's mom is getting her car back. I hope "undamaged" doesn't mean "radio and ignition removed".

/cool story bro
