Yeah you can reflect on how much money drew has made on you over the last (however long you've been a member) days, and then go drink beer with snarky comments.

So it makes you feel wiser, stronger and smarter than those silly young people? Where are all the "I don't want to be young again" farkers when the reality of aging is exposed? Aging sucks. You shouldn't need a simulator to understand that. Where is the anti-aging technology!?? Too difficult for us? Where is the "we'll do it not because it is easy, but because it is hard" spirit??

Yeah, well this isn't it. What is this? 1784? Where are the mathematical models of how matter becomes life? Where are the models of cells aging? Where are the real tools? Where's the real will to reverse aging, not just better diapers and retirement homes with rails in the tub?

/As in Bergeron.

What if you put a 75 year old in the suit? Does he feel like 150?

2011-12-31 08:12:43 PM
You're doing it wrong. How about a suit that makes a 75 year old feal 21

So it's basically the Ghost of Christmas Future coming to warn you how shiatty you're going to feel if you don't start working out and eating right?

Quantum Apostrophe: Where are the mathematical models of how matter becomes life? Where are the models of cells aging? Where are the real tools? Where's the real will to reverse aging, not just better diapers and retirement homes with rails in the tub?

Do you seriously think nobody's working on these problems?

Wait, so all the old people who have mobility and health problems were bad people who made poor health choices and did this to themselves?

Huh. I say, let them suffer.

The grim reaper is getting closer and closer and you can't do anything about it. Don't you have some space travel/NASA thread to go puke all over somewhere?

I already feel like a lazy, malnourished 75 year-old

Yep, another reminder that I sure as shiat don't want to be old.

Somebody make sure and let me go out riding a nuclear device before I get decrepit. At least 10 kilotons, I don't want to feel cheated.

Maybe the obese are actually doing it right?

Between being horrifically out of shape *and* carrying around all that extra weight; they will be used to the limited mobility and pain of movement. Then, as they age, most of them, will be unable to sustain their fat - and as they lose weight in their old age, it will offset the effects of ageing.

Jesus, my Dad is 71, overweight, on heart meds, and still moves furniture and does carpentry.

Meanwhile a 90-year old man puts this suit on and feels awesome.

Put athletes in this until they regain their pre-AGNES skill, speed, and dexterity... then they will be titans.
