President Obama will absolutely hammer this twit.

Damn, Republicans - you guys are absolutely, positively, unequivocally, inescapably FARKED in November. I'm not even reactivating cable to watch - this is going to be a turkey shoot.

It would almost be worth having him win the presidency so I could start blaming Obamacare on him.

I didn't see the 'quote' in the story. Perhaps I missed it?

FTFA: Illustrating the split among social conservatives, Des Moines-area talk radio conservatives Simon Conway and Steve Deace made competing endorsements Friday - Conway for Perry, Deace for Gingrich.

Douche went for Gingrich? I'm surprised. I would have thought Santorum. He's sold out.

well 4+ billion years out of ~14 billion years?
that is a significant percentage of the life of the universe.
now if we compared mass? then we are talking ~= zero

It's interesting to see Team Mittens trying out new campaign fodder and seeing what sticks. It's sad to see that after more than a decade of positioning himself to run for President, this is the best he's come up with.

2011-12-31 09:55:47 PM
Even if he did absolutely nothing else, being the First Black President and killing the guy who did 9/11 gets Obama at least two mentions in even the most cursory American history text, and not in the footnotes. If a person can name at least ten presidents he'll be one of them.

Shee...iiitt, if he can win 80% of African-American votes, just think of how many African-African votes he would garner. Oh, and is Kenya the 56th or 57th state? I can never keep all them new ones straight.

Romney's rhetoric has become unbelievably toxic. I would do anything to keep him from being the nominee. Not because I think he'll be hard to beat, but because I can't bear the idea of listening to him for the next 10 months. The only person worse is Bachmann, and thankfully she'll be out of the race in 3 days.

Pretty tepid put-down for a dude that's well on his way to becoming the GOP's George McGovern. That's a Republican for you...always projecting his worst fears onto his opponent.

Don't recognize McGovern's name? Exactly.

""This president has been a failure," Romney told hundreds of supporters"

Absolutely correct. I remember the first year of Obama's presidency, when he took a lot of vacations, didn't do much to help the nation recover from the dot com implosion, then his intel failure allowed terrorists to fly planes into buildings in NYC and kill thousands of Americans. Then to top it off, Obama spent the surplus the gov't had and made the deficit worse than it ever was. Plus Barak never caught the architect of the terrorist attack, Osama bin Laden. Yes, Obama is a total failure.

Same VP, Biden. As for the Republican or third party, it could be anyone, it was a question of whether Obama would be worthy of voting for. You can have multiple candidates and parties who are worthy of votes.
