Bring a case or two. That'll shut the teacher up when she says "I hope you brought enough for everybody, young lady."

Sigh,,,,...

No, this time it will be different! The safety of THE CHILDREN cannot be compromised. We can charge the parents for failure to protect, endangering the safety of a minor, contributing and negligence, to start. Introduce legislation requiring safety locks on all bottle caps and liquor cabinets. Regulate amounts of alcohol allowed in homes. Require registration of every bottle purchased and require records of consumption by those who have a legal consumption license, obtained only after a thorough background check! This time IT WILL be different!

This is news? Don't all middle schoolers do this? My school did. The students fought the school and got them to start letting us bring water bottles to class but me and my friends chose to put clear alcohol like rum and vodka in there instead of water. Never was caught but had more than one student around us ask about the strange smell when the bottles were open.

Are you feeling okay? Did you maybe miss your medication? Just take a deep breath and we'll worth through this.

Yeah, takes some pills instead of getting drunk. That's acceptable.

I did it in uni, which did have the advantage that I could simply stop off on my walk to the tube and buy my vodak and juice. Then no one else at the lecture would drink with me, they all just said no then went to the tutors behind my back to say "I'm worried that Gordon is becoming an alcoholic, what to do?" and that sort of pointless rubbish.

I'm conflicted. Part of me wants to say, what's the big deal? My friends and I used to do this all the time from the 8th grade up, and I was a straight A student who never got in trouble, so don't punish her too severely. The other part of me thinks the difference between this girl and me was that she got caught and I didn't. Sooo... lock her ass up!

I remember middle school when the bad girl brought a water bottle of vodak. She was pretty excited about it, but wouldn't share.

That's a terrible idea, not sharing, she got wasted and soon everyone knew + she got arrested.

Vodak girl, call me in 5 years.

Police officers are working with the juvenile and school officials to determine punishment, according to a police report.

Because police are supposed to determine everyone's punishment now.

I bet she shares more than her vodak too!

Ah to be young again. Is there a reason I'm not bringing vodak to work?

Back in my day, you didn't get a story like this greenlit unless it was a school aged girl with vodak tampon story. Who's in charge of quality control around here?

Amateur!!!!!

Drink 1/2 bottle of A&W and replace with Root Beer Schnapps.

Keep mouth shut and get around every open container issue there is.

A beer can will fit in a med sized Mcdonalds cup

Ahh remembering my youth

Keep those reefers hidden where you're sure
That they will not be found
And be careful not to smoke them
When the scoutmaster's around
For he only will insist that it be shared.
Be prepared!

I lived in the town next to Glen Ellyn. I would have needed to be drunk to go to that school too.

Well, it is too obscure for me, I've never seen the Breakfast Club....

Better jump on that kid with a heavy punishment. Couldn't be anything wrong at home that needs to be looked into.

School is in session somewhere? What madness is this?

I used to carry the V in Sprite or 7-up bottles.

13 is pretty young to be starting that shiat up though, I can't imagine that kid has a normal home life.

This still happens every year at Middle Schools around the U.S. It is not worthy of a news story.
