Well, the fox comes up with a computer mouse, but it's too small to see what it is because the image had to be resized down so much to fit FARK's ridiculously small 200kb size limit. PLEASE increase the size limit for GIFs. PLEASE!! 200kb is fine for JPEG, way too small for GIF.

But there's still some guy in Idaho who visits Fark with his 14.4 modem! Think of the children!

The file size limit has been upped to 256kb. It happened some months ago, but I don't think it was announced anywhere.

I am wondering if the image size restriction has as much to do with minimizing Fark server load as it does user bandwidth burden. Every time someone submits an image Fark will verify that the entire file is available in order to prevent broken links from being submitted. If a bunch of people were submitting large sized files it would stress out the servers and perhaps the site wouldn't load.

ban_sidhe is the only PS dial up user that I still know, and I doubt her children could care less how long the threads take to load. :)
