Missing Blind Man Mitchell Malik Smith

Sounds like the name of a blues musician.

deadsanta: What's the problem, can't he just ask for help if he needs it?

I'd say so, yeah. Sounds like Mr. Smith doesn't want to go back home. The story didn't mention that he was mentally handicapped or a minor so..."Family freaks out because blind man doesn't want to come home" is a more appropriate story title.

2011-12-30 11:46:38 AM
He's good looking, so this is relevant to my interests.

I gotta say, considering he was blind, the dude was a sharp dresser.

So... out of curiosity, why did you even come into the thread? To brag about how you're too dense to understand the difference between FAUX NEWS and a Fox affiliate's news? Or was it for some other reason?

Thanks! There's also a japanese restaurant near me that does a piss poor job with their sushi. Sure, it's cheaper than other options, but the quality is terrible and I won't support their business with my money or attention. Think you can swing by there and make up for me on that front, too?

Slow day at work and I wanted the lulz, really.

It's not that I'm 'too dense' at all. I'm just dense enough, thankyaverymuyh! A portion of my background includes a parent that worked in advertising and time spent working in advertising/marketing (told ya I was dense!). "Support the brand" was a common theme.. and I simply try to avoid supporting that brand, no matter what it is presenting. I don't always win that battle, but it's a factor I consider when making decisions.

Again, out of curiosity, would it then be safe to assume that you never watch any television shows (news or sitcom or otherwise) that are (or were ever) broadcast on the FOX channel? I'm just curious how strong your convictions are on this.

I have.. far more so in the past than in the present. We all grow up sometime, I guess. I also tend to avoid Fox Searchlight films, but with a wife in film, I don't always get that option. Like I said:

A car with unknown plates picked him up from the hospital.

The name of the driver and where they went next is unknown.

What about the color of the car? Driver's gender? Pressure of the tires? Contents of the glovebox? I bet those are all unknown too. You could write a news article about all the things no one knows.

Oddly enough, the car was tan, the gender was neutral, the tired were properly inflated to manufacturers specs (except for the rear passenger tire which was under by 5psi), and the glovebox contained a map a Newark, three oil change receipts, a partial roll of old duct tape and, strangely, a pair of Isotoner leather gloves.
