College friend of mine once remarked that you really can't appreciate sports until you have seen a darts match broadcast on TV (he spent a couple years as a teen in Leeds, West Yorkshire). He remembered one moment in particular where after a great shot (or throw?), the commentator was in awe with "My God, look at that...What an athlete!"

I should add a CSB:

Independence Day weekend a few years ago, I was channel surfing and came across what is now called Fox Soccer Channel. They were showing... live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas... darts. It was at that very moment that I knew that there was way too much shiat on TV.
