TLDR.

The "Star Trek" vs. "Star Wars" arguments quit being fun around 2002.

After that, I think any rational human being could agree that both series were pretty farking stupid.

My toons are 13 and 19, so you're not lagging too bad. The lvl 13 one will be my main, but I'm leveling her with my hubby so with the holidays it's been slow going. Not sure how much we'll be playing tonight, but we should be eligible for Hammer before the end of the weekend. :D

Bah. Wave the dork flag high, sister. To help encourage you - and to potentially make you seem hotter by comparison, I'll man up and post a couple of pictures of my own costumes. I have no shame. And no self-esteem either, but that's a whole 'nother story.

First, Jedi Knight costume, accepted as canon by the Rebel Legion.


Second, an older picture of my Viper jock smock. (I freely admit, I cannot fit into this thing anymore.)


And finally, a bonus picture of me, on deployment with the US Army, taking my unit patches off for a moment and putting on Stargate SG-1 insignia. Because that's how I roll.

My criteria for better is I would listen to the song outside of the film/TV show. I have listened to and enjoyed Duel of the Fates without watching the movie; I think John Williams is farking brilliant at creating a memorable, recognizable, and mood setting theme song.

BUT my DW #9 ringtone trounces my husband's Disco Star Wars theme ringtone and I couldn't see myself rocking out to the Star Wars movie opener. Then again, I fully admit that Star Wars isn't my thing so I don't get the jizzies when it comes on which I'm sure is part of it. Doctor Who and The Venture Bros. generally give me the jizzies so the music elicits a reaction before the show even starts.
