DVD was a well written show, but Laura Petrie wasn't a fully drawn character. She pretty much began and ended at "cute." Mary Richards was a much more developed character. I suppose Laura seems sexier because that was the axis of her entire character.

there are some that look about as good (Kate Beckinsale, for one, she looks about as good, but that is also granting tons of make-up and possibly surgery) but there simply aren't many.
