I said it before and I'll say it again: Tebow is the new marklar.

Stafford doesn't even make the list? He's managed to stay reasonably healthy for the first time since he came into the NFL. And, IIRC he's only thrown 3 INT's in 10-12 games when he didn't have a splint on his finger.

Newton setting the rookie record for passing yards, and being at the door of 4,000 yards with a game to go, being second in the NFL for rushing TDs and fifth for rushing yardage among all rookies is less surprising than Tebow? On what planet?

Nah, on Fark he's the new Britney. They'll be obsessed with him until he marries a Federline, pops out 2 kids and starts waddling around on stage with fish nets.
Keep greening those links!

Yeah I'm not surprised at this comment from you since its been proven you don't see the difference between pro and college, teebow had a worse motion than cam ever dreamed of and was seen as a risk to take in the second round and denver took him in the first round. Yeah teebow is more shocking that he led his team to those wins, Carolina finished about where most thought they would, in last or next to last.

And dalton is on the lost but not the reason for him being on the list? AJ Green is one of the best receivers to come out of college in a long time, it still pisses me off that if UGA had any kind of farking defense while stafford/green were there they could have had at least one NC. Its why most UGA fans still aren't ready to quite hating Richt.

"Defense" is not accepted at UGA. Just looking it up because I was trying to think when the last time they've even played it, and Richt's had ONE team ever keep it under 200 points for a year (at 198), and other than Goff's fluke year of '92, you have to go back to Dooley before you see point totals well under 200, let alone the defense that won the National Championship.

My favorite Tebow moment was watching him lose to the Patriots.

The beating by the Lions was better IMO. Of course the ultimate insult would be for Orton to out Tebow Tebow.

Yes we know, but they were at least tolerable when van gorder was there, willie martinez just plain sucked as DC.

And we all know the 80s were the best, erk Russell was the man.

Are you kidding? If you're into Tebow Schadenfreude, nothing beats Tebow winning the Jake against the chefs, and hearing the idiots in the highlights reel changing the chant from "teeeeebow, ooooooh oooh" to "teeeebow, oooooh noes".

I hear you, but I'm a Patriots' fan, so that'll trump everything else for me.

Every single sportscaster has colluded to make everyone forget about what they predicted for Newton before the season started. I like Newton but he's going to have to do a much better job of protecting the ball if the Panthers are going to win a championship with him. Still, we watch the NFL to be entertained and he did the impossible. He made that Panthers team entertaining.

Tebow would have been the most surprising player of the season if he had kept Tebowmania going but it ran out of steam after the Pats loss and then got buried to the middle pages after the Bills loss.

Cam didn't win a huge number of games, but his play has been ASTONISHING. Flat out ridiculous really. The quality of his play is being mentioned in the same breath as guys like Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers, which is mind-boggling for a rookie, and he has more rushing touchdowns to his name than most RBs, and almost 700 yards on the ground with only 3 fumbles. His athleticism is freakish and otherworldly and against all odds continues to rule the day in the pros, which was predicted by precisely zero experts.

If he gets the INTs under control next year that's a playoff team, and he didn't even have the pre-season camps and such to get him rolling this year, it was all him. Hell compare his year to Rodgers in 2008. Passing yards and INTs are almost identical with a couple less TDs, but he out-rushes Rodgers x3, and scores as many rushing TDs as Rodgers has in his entire career.

Well Jim Donnan did have one as well, according to this site and if you look at it you can see there is a steady rise until last year in PA from when Van Gorder left and Willie took over to when he was finally farking fired and now they look like a real defense.

And the new DC seems to be stealing prospects back away from bama and florida so it seems hes headed in the right direction, well that and the fact other teams are asking to talk to him about HC positions, which he turns down, nobody ever wanted to speak to Willie Martinez because he sucked so bad.
