I bought a cheap "Flytouch 3" 10" Android tablet from a vendor on AliExpress. It was my second purchase through their "escrow" service... and the vendor delivered. My first attempt failed, but AliExpress quickly refunded my money when the first vendor's tracking number was bogus.

It was a well run site, but the vendors run the gamut from full-on crooks to honest vendors. The second time I took the time to choose a vendor with a good reputation and a real track record.

The strange thing is, the first vendor never got any money, and didn't even deliver a package - they might have gotten some money if they'd at least shipped a box with a brick in it; but because they sent me a tracking number that wasn't legit, AliExpress was able to refund my money immediately.
