There was a story about a blogger who tried to get her hair like that and in so doing got a quote from a neighbor of Gingrich who said she always looks like that. The blogger's hair dresser said it would take a treatment every week or two and a good 30 minutes on the hair alone never mind her face every morning for it to look like that. Which leads to the question; at what point did someone say that look was for her and then convinced her to do that EVERY DAY.

That has got to be some hardcore 60's-style curlers/back brushing with industrial strength Aquanet hairspray. The color makes her look 60. Some of the pictures of her show some serious wrinkles. She's been banging Newt since '93 so I'm guessing Newt sucked the youth right out of her.
