My favorite Bachmann story from yesterday was Bachman keeping a campaign promise to not use teleprompters. You know, because Obama is not smart enough to give a prepared speech w/o having it on a teleprompter.

So Bachmann uses an iPad.

There are 2 reasons why the GOP string pullers allow her and Perry to continue campaigning:

1) They make Newt look good by comparison
2) They're megaphones for the echochamber. Turn on CNN or MSNBC right now. They're constantly talking about the GOP and their infighting. There would be 100x less 1-way message sending if Perry and Bachmann weren't in it.

The best thing about this is the guy's reason for switching. He literally said that he thinks the race is now between Romney and Paul, and he believes that Romney is "a socialist".

There's so much Stupid competing with Crazy in the Republican Party these days. Mitt Romney is "a Socialist"? That's like calling Pat Boone a "gangsta rapper". I realize that most the Republicans that post here are mainly just sad, pathetic Trolls, but assuming there's such a thing as a Republican who's also a rational adult, I have a question for you: how the hell can you remain in a Political Party that's gone this batshiat crazy?

FTFA: Upon learning of Sorenson's announcement hours later, Bachmann struck back with a sharply worded statement accusing him of selling his endorsement to a higher bidder.

"Kent Sorenson personally told me he was offered a large sum of money to go to work for the Paul campaign," Bachmann said in a hastily arranged news conference outside a Pizza Ranch in Boone, where she held her 11th campaign event of the day.

"Kent campaigned with us earlier this afternoon and went immediately afterward to a Ron Paul event and announced he is changing teams," Bachmann continued. "Kent said to me yesterday that 'Everyone sells out in Iowa, why shouldn't I?' then he told me he would stay with our campaign."

Sounds like capitalism; why does Michelle Bachman hate capitalism?
