He's not the worst Republican by a long shot, but my feeling after the last four years is that no one aligning themselves with the GOP will get a vote from me. No one.

They've proven time and again, folks, like my family, in the lower middle class are irrelevant to them, and they've done nothing to earn my vote. In fact, they're actively trying to put us in a worse financial situation.

Is this the same Scott Brown who had the press fawning over him because he drove a truck, which made him such a down-to-earth, manly, Real American? The kind of American who drives a truck? Because I seem remember a couple month stretch during the campaign when it seemed like every single report on him found a way to mention that he drove a truck. The fact that he drove a truck is the only thing I remember about his campaign, because the media was too busy noting that he drove a truck to spend much time on his positions. That's the guy complaining about soft media coverage?

Indeed, she was... absolutely brutal.

The teabaggers were crowing about Brown's win being a critique on the President, but they were pretty much blinded by their own rhetoric.

Brown has little in common with the average teabagger as far as policy goes and he won primarily as a moderate Republican running against an absolute train of a Democratic candidate.

While I'm sure Brown was more than happy to take their money during the campaign, he quickly realized he had to distance himself from these far right ideologues if he wanted to have a snowballs chance in hell of getting reelected in Massachusetts.

'Course, Liz Warren has pretty much put a damper on any confidence Brown had about his chances. Unlike Coakley, Warren is going to appeal to both the urban dwellers and the suburbanites and this time around you can pretty much guarantee the MA Democrats aren't going to be quite as apathetic as they were during the special election.
