I prefer passive crime scenes myself

Pfffft. I've done that plenty of times when I was on call.

/kidding boss, I would never drive the company vehicle whilst inebriated.

2 minutes is pretty average for a girl with a purse full of crap. Hammered or not.

Came here to say that, and mention that the cops get a huge pass when they can claim "strong odor of alcohol and bloodshot eyes" as cause for suspicion... I happen to use vodak as an antiperspirant and of course, my eyes are usually bloodshot at 4am.

/so I'm getting a kick

Why not? Shouldn't they be busy with the crime scene?

Someone was pulled over by the cops one night and they were running him through the tests... I came out on my front porch and cracked a couple beers. The guy started pointing at me and asking the cops why they didn't do something about 'that guy over there'... and to my surprise, one came over and asked me to please take it inside for now. He was really cool about it and I understood how I was making it harder for them - so I obliged.

Cool cops are cool.

They didn't taze him, punch him a few times, then arrest him for impeding an investigation and resisting arrest?

He didn't get tazed, beaten, and/or arrested?

I considered it 'cool' in that he didn't act like some gym coach with a testosterone issue - he didn't try to be some dickhead about it, he acknowledged that there wasn't anything legally he could do, but in the interest of keeping things easier and somewhat civil, he'd appreciate some help from me - which was respectable and appreciated. Fact was, I DID go out there with some arrogance and attitude - he responded to it with reason and asked for some basic understanding, no flexing, no threats,...

In my book, that's cool.

In short - not all cops are evil, bad, 'daddy didn't hug me enough' stereotypes - some are actually cool people who do a good job, care about their community and put up with way too much.

They ARE out there you know...

Deputies noticed a strong odor of alcohol emanating from Greene's mouth, reports said.

You fill in the blanks
