A lot of these vending machines are in underground train platforms. There's signal, but wifi wouldn't hurt.


This makes me wonder if they might start vending machines with fresh underwear. Free wifi == foobie'd farkers.

Have you ever tested the speed at a wifi hot spot? Would you pay for cable fast unfiltered speed? At say 2 bucks per hour?

This is awesome because finding wifi, even in Tokyo, is a pain in the ass. And there are so many vending machines...If they installed this on even half of them, you could get a connection almost anywhere.
