I'd rather not mess with Bill Watterson's stuff instead of depicting Calvin peeing on various things or mangling the characters to generate some ironic page clicks.

While I agree with this sentiment, I do enjoy this image:

Not only that, but according to a recent Disney cartoon, he had gender identity

2 months from now, this collection's sorry carcass will be dragged out one last time on Scribol, like those Harry Potter fan pics that are now headlining.

I thought this was just adorable.

FTFComments: I always imagine Calvin growing up to be a stand up human being. He would probably get a job in science or blogging or engineering. I'd imagine he'd in turn teach his kids to love the outdoors just as he has. And of course, he'll become a proud cyclist just like his father after he finally learns how to ride with confidence.

Did this guy read the same books as me? Calvin HATED that bike. If anything, he would develop a desire to mount the front of his car with one of those Mad Max front bumpers.

Right now I'm imagining Calvin & Hobbes as a lushly animated (think Studio Ghibili) anime series, episodic in nature, with little to no real connecting story between each episode, rather, each episode is its own adventure. Kind of like Kino's Journey.

The theme of the show would be how one little kid's imagination turns everyday scenarios into wonderful adventures with Hobbes, and could contrast Calvin's imaginary world with the real world through lush, detailed animation and scenery.

Maybe I'm just really not sober but I think this would be amazing.

It's too bad Bill Watterson doesn't wish to share any more Calvin & Hobbes with the world in any form, apparently.

There's only the four that I was able to find. Seems to belong to the webcomic "Pants are overrated", so maybe bug the artist for more. Matter of fact, there was only the two I had seen last time, so this provided me the opportunity to read the newest ones as well.

To all those commenting on the "Hobbes and Bacon" strips by Pants Are Overrated, the 4 that are there are all there is. Not only have the artists stated that they didn't want to overdo it, they have stopped doing their comic altogether.

/they are my favorite C&H tribute EVAR, though...
