eh, in a very narrow application of the definition of zealot, i guess tebow fits. but he doesn't seem at all to be very partisan about it or to judge or insult others about their lack of religion. he's very open about his faith, but i haven't seen anything about him that would suggest he wouldn't be a fantastic neighbor.

I've had both and I'll take the religious zealot any day of the week. The zealot is only annoying when you see him face-to-face. The obnoxious douchebag doesn't take care of his yard, has loud music at all hours, and is rude, homophobic, and racist when you do meet him.

The worst the zealot did was look visibly relived when told the X-Men sticker on the car was not Satanic. Although I did get a lecture about the Darwin fish. The douchebag came over the first day he moved in to remark how nice & quiet the neighborhood was. When I agreed, he asked if that was because there were no n*iggers living nearby (direct quote). His yard was quickly littered w/couches, cars on blocks, and beer cans. They were raided after a few months for running an illegal daycare. Good times...

Having heard numerous interviews with the neighbors of serial killers, it's the neat and quiet ones you should fear the most.

Illegal daycare? What?

I'm shocked it wasn't a meth lab and ONLY an illegal daycare. But they had like a dozen kids in this filthy little 5-room house being "cared for" by a woman who needed a Jazzy & an oxygen tank to move around. I don't know where the kids came from--they weren't from the neighborhood--but somebody finally had enough & the cops were called.

I would rather live next to an underused state park in Virginia like my in-laws. My mother-in-law was angry the first year in the house after the leaves dropped because she could see the lights of another house in the distance.
