He's already equaled him in championships, though.

I never realized how much i am annoyed and disagree with everything that comes out of Jeff VanGundy's mouth than now when there is no Mark Jackson to counter argument him.

Him and Mike Tirichio are not a good dynamic by themselves.

I am interested to see Shaq and Charles in the studio.

The thing he is dead on right about though is how they should expand the dimensions of the court. If they really want to open up the game and promote athleticism then they need to give these bigger, faster guys more room to operate. Also next time you watch a game, take a look at how many guys trip over the photographers behind the basket. Happens at least 3 times a game, and eventually someone is going to get really hurt from it. Someone like Stephen Curry whose ankle could explode at any minute.

I saw them Christmas day and was pretty disappointed. Shaq needs to develop his 'analyst voice' a bit, as his low voice mumble made him hard to hear. There also didn't seem to be a great studio dynamic with them, though I'm sure that will gel over time. Personally, I liked Chris Webber with Kenny and Charles.

If things don't work out he could go back to his movie career.

And Stephan Curry begins securing his legacy as the Ken Griffey Jr. of the NBA. (Reds-era Ken Griffey Jr., not Mariners-era)

Right now it seems like Shaq is still figuring out how to work well on air. His personality has always been to be the absolute center of attention and that doesn't work so well when the guys need to play off each other to create an atmosphere of discussion. I got the feeling that sort of annoyed Chuck because he couldn't figure out how to behave, but I could be way off. Also, Shaq likes to be everyone's friend. Webber was more interested in being right, which led to some interesting situations. I think Shaq will end up being good just because he's so funny, but, much like most teams in the league, they're still working through some kinks.

What did Jackson do to deserve this job? Why was he being discussed for the St. Johns job?

Mostly, fark Marc Jackson
