I know for sure Saudi Arabia will be first on the United States hit list after this 9/11 business

Iran's guilty, but not Saudi Arabia?

We'll know for sure about 2005 or 2006. 2008 at the latest

ShawnDoc: Iran's guilty, but not Saudi Arabia?

TFA doesn't mentioned if they were sued. i'm sure some smart lawyer quickly realized that suing them would bring the weight of washington down on the judge to not find saudi arabia liable. that said, if you had to choose only one backward-ass shiathole to be blame for 9/11, it should be saudi arabia.

/but we need oil, so whateves...

It also said Iran continues to provide material support and resources to al-Qaida by providing a safe haven for al-Qaida leadership and rank-and-file al-Qaida members.

Well, it's certainly good that our actual allies, like Pakistan, never do things like that. They definitely shouldn't be included in this list, so it's correct that they weren't.

This is f*cking nuts...
We just got the f*ck out of Iraq, which also had nothing directly to do with 9/11.
Let's not fall into this idea where we need to attack Iran now. We should be trying to make peace with them.

Hell, considering what we did to their country, we should be kissing their asses and apologizing.

Or maybe it was Eastasia.

Listen here, Ron Paul, this may sound reasonable to you, but your newsletters contained racist comments, therefore everything you think is crazy. So we need to attack Iran. And not just because they are brown. Did I say because? I meant oil. Not because. Not just oil. Attacking. Fool me twice.

Anyway. Al-Qaeda will nuke our oil if we don't bomb Iran now.

Just play along.

I'm curious to know exactly what load of BS was considered as "evidence" to support that conclusion.

France did piss us off, subby. They are guilty of Iraq. Saddam and thousands of others are dead partially because France (and Russia) cheated and created major economic imbalance by violating the terms of the Oil for Food program.

Iran is right between Iraq and Afghanistan, so they had to have known what was going on in both countries; plus they're the only country between Kuwait and India we haven't invaded yet.

Sounds good to me! Let's go!

Americans? Y'all also seem to think that everyone out there speaks English and only pretends not to to personally insult you when you're doing them the charity of littering and spitting everywhere touring.

/Ummm, the U.S. funded the Taliban to get rid of the Russians, so Republicans are responsible for 9/11, duhhhh.

So much this. Al Qaeda hates pretty much everyone.

80% of the saber rattling at Iran is due to our politicians being scared of/bribed by the Israel lobby and the House of Saud.

while i find the whole idea of going after damages kind of silly, most if not all of the islamic world is at fault.
their idealisisms auggest that it it is indeed holy to attack any one who isnt like them. and as far as business practices,if they dont get the upper hand in any business deal regardless of whether they realized it now or a hundred years later, they still think they have the right to kill people for it. its probably not the religion that dictates this, just the mindset ot the people. what right thinking people just decides, hey ,we dont like the way things are gpoing so we are gonna go back a century with our lifestyle and then expect the whole world to condescend to them? face it folks, they are just plain nuts. most are uneducated other then what the mullahs will allow, and the few that do get a quality education decide to split, and then have a major remorse for thier fellows and decide to commit jihad on thier behalf.

seal the borders, find an energy strategey that works, and jusy say bye to them. thy are nuts!
they are simply dragging the world down, who needs them?

So how much is Israel fined for their dancing Mossad agents who were filming the attacks from New Jersey? Three fiddy?

And just to be ecumenical, how much are we going to charge Saudi Arabia, considering most of the attackers were Saudis. I think Bin Laden is Saudi.

And let's not forget Pakistan. Come on now. Pony up some geld.

So, to sum up. Israel, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan owe us big coin. Come on, boys.

Nem Wan: Isn't a default judgment what you get if you don't show up to contest the case? In other words, a one-side assertion untested in any way, that the judge just goes along with, because?

Correct. A default judgment is typically entered when the defendant doesn't contest the matter. At least in Illinois, default judgments are typically vacated if a defendant moves to do so in a reasonable amount of time.

I think that this is a way of making it legal to use frozen Iranian assets to help pay compensation to 9/11 victims, thereby saving the taxpayers money, and sending Iranian money to a good cause. Considering that Iran most definitely does provide support to terrorist groups with the aim of getting our soldiers killed, and it's really not a stretch that they where doing the same in the past decade and earlier, I certifiably don't have a problem with this. Guilty by association... meh, fark em, they where never getting that money back anyways.
