I'd make a movie out of that...I'd call it "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down"...

Greyhound disabled the runaway bus electronically two hours later in Watertown.

OK. Though I find it a bit strange they felt the need to have the function of disabling buses, I can give that a pass. That it took them two hours, that's a little less acceptable.

It might not have worked outside of metropolitan areas.

Any vehicle with Onstar can have its engine shut down remotely.

It's just a theft deterrent, though, guys, really. Well, that, and if you ever happen to be wanted for arrest. Or maybe they just want to kill you, by doing it at the right time. The possibilities are truly endless, and since it's something many people in the public are blissfully unaware of, it could be years before any kind of regulation comes into play.

Hey,it was a Christmas visit! How many of you care enough about your friends
to find any way possible to spread cheer? I bet his friend was a shut in,dying of
some incurable disease,no family. Greyhound Man deserves a Hero tag.

I would like to share an experience with you about drinking and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years.

Well, over the weekend I attended a Christmas party & knowing full well I may have been over the limit, I decided to do something I've never done before - I took a bus home!

I arrived back home safely and without incident which was a real surprise, since I had never even driven a bus before and am not sure where I got this one.

"God dammit, our slogan is LEAVE THE DRIVING TO US!"

Attention all cars: Be on the lookout for a Greyhound bus . . . last seen driving west and doing an excellent job of it. Clearly this person does not normally drive a Greyhound bus.

Thank God in Greyhound you're gone.
