It's kind of like when you start getting sick of your boyfriend or girlfriend, and then you get a good look at what else is out there and decide he or she isn't so bad after all.

The shamelessly left-wing Daily Mail has been in the tank for Obama since Day 1.

A lot of states have gotten a taste of Republican executive leadership. Millions of voters have been mobilized to overturn sweeping union-busting bills and even recall their governors, far exceeding the amount of signatures needed to begin the process to do so. Hopefully a recurring theme for Obama is the awful experiments we have undergone in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc.

Michigan, Ohio, and Florida just off the top.

Oh, hey! Look! Two of those are swing states!

He probably has lost my vote for that. I'll see what 3rd party makes the ballot here.

Also, to cover the inevitable Republican spin:

These Republican primary debates have been a gift. For the past three or four months America has been continually bombarded by a freakshow of psychotic churchladies, ignorant pizza guys, goldbugs, bigots and perfectly coiffed wax figures, fighting each other in the longest deathmatch in the history of American politics.

It's been a showcase of Tea Party policy and Randroid wet-dreams, and I think the American people are starting to realize that the Tea Party elephant has no clothes.

Wisconsin, Ohio, and Florida really f*cked up. They've done everything in their power tgo mobilize the Democratic base. There will be large turnouts for people who are thoroughly disgusted by the overreach of the Republicans in those states.

I will laugh if Kasich Walker, and Scott end up singlehandedly costing the GOP the election.

So, I see the rest of the country has had some exposure to the current crop of Republicans, also lets not forget how well loved the Tea Party has become since they took control of the House.

Nah, it won't be single-handedly. I mean, look at the GOP candidates...when there's absolutely no one electable running against you, your only enemy is voter apathy, and that's where the Republican overreach in the states will cost them. Lots of people pissed off coming into an election year is not good for the party they are pissed off at.

It sure would be nice if those Republicans figured out that 100% of Americans want the federal government to outlaw all ownership of private property, abolish religion, nationalize the economy, and completely destroy our national defense infrastructure.

It's not like the message coming out of his election campaign has been "We really need to get out in front of these Republicans!".

It's been, "We're just gonna replay the debates after they're done destroying each other and their chances".

There's only one poll that matters.

The press can take their "optics", polls, approval numbers, staged photo ops and glib tone and shove them all up their own butt holes.

I think the Republican Party has made a horrible strategic error by allowing the primary circus continue for as long as it has. In previous elections they would have had a consensus candidate by now, and most others would have had the good sense or would have been encouraged by the party leadership to drop out after their numbers dropped to unelectable levels. Instead it's been this bizarre tag team match where every two or three weeks a new challenger to Romney appears and struts around, taking jabs at the presumptive nominee, until the challenger is horribly embarassed.

This is a lot like 2008, where the Republicans had a shiat fit that McCain the RINO was going to be nominee, and the conservative talk circuit trashed him for months. The GOP had to good sense to buy out McCain's competition early on, but the backlash by the f*cktard wing of the party permanently damaged McCain's chances.

This is worse. Romney will probably win the primary, but the conservatives are going to be so divided and butthurt that I think turnout for the Republicans will suffer. Meanwhile Romney has tried to pitch himself as a conservative who believes corporations are people and the middle class are do-nothing whiners.

The comments are full of derp. Is there a lot of crossover between Fox Nation and the Daily Mail?

I come from a conservative family, and every one of them is amazed I'm voting for Obama in 2012. I'm amazed that they can look at anything on the other side and say "Yeah, that looks reasonable." This current crop of Republican presidential candidates, Walker, Kasich, the tea party Congress, etc., are the best friends the left could ask for.

I see. You know, what pisses me off about the President is that he cannot decide which bongo he represents. One moment he farts bongos, and the next he taxes them. We need more decisive leadership, not this percussive waffling.

Rachel Maddow called the 2010 election "If not now, then when?" in regards to the nutcases that came out of the woodwork in response to the 2008 election.

You kind of expected after 2010 things would settle down, they'd get back to business of the good solid sell and not allow distractions that resemble a bad Onion article.....but they didn't, and haven't, and don't appear to want to. That's what confounds me. If there's a guy painting a mural of Stalin with his feces in the back of your "Big Tent" then you give him the boot...let him know that he's not welcome.

If your goal is to win an election what made you think that the radical fringe is your answer?
