I was expecting an article about how they cut open a whale and found packages of bacon or something in the whale's stomach, like how they find all sorts of things in alligator stomachs. I am disappointed.

The Japanese are in denial about whales. They have way too much whale meat in freezers that nobody, even in Japan, wants to eat, but they refuse to stop whaling. My theory is that it's a religious thing. Buddhists were allowed to eat whale because whale was a "fish". I expect that if there were an honourable way to back out of whaling, they might be willing to back down.

So I think we should all pretend that the whale is a fish.

A big fat smart warm-blooded fish that feeds its young with mammaries.

Like Roseanne or Rosie O'Donnell.
