Their charter probably requires them to make a search. I suspect Shaheen will end up as the selection of the "search".

I figured it was either that, or he's already found another job somewhere else and it just hasn't been publicized yet.

Never heard of the guy.

But uhh, I'm pretty sure he isn't coaching in all of those games or taking all of the shots in those games, so uhh...

It really isn't, is the funny thing. The NCAA tournament is huge in terms of ratings. A 14 year contract at less than $1 billion per year is a terrible deal that they are stuck with for a long, long time. In 5 years, they'll be a laughingstock for selling so low, and will still have 9 more years of lost profits.

If you put me in charge of your $50,000 sports car and I sold it for $10,000 - would you be happy that I made you 10k in a single day; or upset that I sold a 50k car for 10k?
