Yes, +1, Subby!

FTFA: The reports have stressed how the North Korean people are deeply indebted to the largesse of their leaders, despite the deepening political isolation and economic hardship they have faced in recent years, including severe famines and shortages of electricity, food and other necessities.

"Leader Kim Jong Il is always with us as we have respected Comrade Kim Jong Un identical to him," KCNA quoted Song Hye Yong, a 42-year-old woman, as saying as she carried "a bag full of fish in her hand".

Yes, he is always with you. Your deprivation and occasional starvation is a glorious memorial to his great work.

/facepalm

Awww, Douglas Adams deserves better than a reference to a douchbag nutcase who spent his time starving and brainwashing his country.

/has a sad

FTFA: The report also quoted Kim Jong Hwa, a saleswoman at a grocery in the central district of the city, as saying she was deeply touched by leader Kim Jong Il's gift of fish to the people.
"All of citizens are deeply moved by his deep care," she said.

I haven't even the words.

When they had the fish in the movie Airplane, everyone got sick.

Who'll steer the country?

"THE people of North Korea's capital have received a special gift from recently deceased leader Kim Jong-Il: loads and loads of fish."

Meanwhile, the people living out in the countryside and starving to death? Pretty much farked.

Wow, an entire nation with Stockholm Syndrome. What an impressive legacy.

Yep. Take care of yourself and those in your little 'inner circle', and let the rest of the nation fend for itself.

the writers for this article are carrying the dictator's water here. this is written as if the Kim's leadership has absolutely nothing to do with their famines and economic hardship. as if those two facts are unrelated and coincidental.

sure, they caused the famine and starved their people to death and they have no electricity or contact with the outside world, but he gave you a bag of fish one day so we're even right?

At the moment of dear leaders death many fish leap into the boats singing eat me, eat me. but everyone should save just 1 fish to nail to a board to hang on wall. As a memorial for that other invention of dear leader Birry bass

Yep, you just found one of the interesting things about the New Testament, a lot of the stories in the New Testament are retelling of the Old. In the Old Testament, if you wanted to give credence to something, you attributed it to Moses. When they were writing the New Testament, they wanted to put Jesus on the same level as Mosed (remember Jesus was a jew) and to do that they took all the old stories about Moses and put a fresh spin. Another example is the Sermon on the Mount was supposed to invoke memories of when Moses came down from the mountain and preached to everyone about the 10 commandments.

Damn, I want an entire country whose populace can be bought off with a few bags of cheap fish. Gebus, those poor, people.

And yea, Pyonyang or whatever, is stacked with the party faithful, the loyal sychophiants, assorted ass kissers and deluded, plus the paid off military.

You have to have a permit to live in Py, otherwise it's eat farking grass for you!

I hope that when the people of NK finally rise up, that the deaths of their oppressers are long, very long, and quite, infact extremely painful.
