I honestly can't believe the BS Nike pulled here. They know that these are a re-release that will bring in both the casual sneaker wearer and sneaker heads, and they GROSSLY underproduced these. My local Foot Locker had 40 people in line for 14 pairs of shoes. Not 14 per size. 14 pairs overall. Most of them wound up on eBay within the hour. Yeah, media hype is great and all, but Nike could've made 5 times as much money and still had that. I simply don't get it.

I assumed these people were buying them for themselves.

The one radio interview I heard was with a guy who definately was buying for himself. Something about Jordan bieng a God or something.

As it happens, I'll need a new pair of shoes in a couple weeks when I finally get out of the cam-boot Ive been wearing.

I'm a New Balance guy myself, so I hope there isnt a mob of crazed nurses to fight through while Im doing the one-shoe-test-walk around the store.

We've got some tasty treats but we dont tend to gorge ourselves. All of our family birthdays are around xmas time but I have zero spirit this year. So we're eating some tasty treats and playing games. Lots of movies. No headaches or heartaches with little to not shopping.

I would be drinking beer or other but blasted headache isnt going away.

Just watched a local news piece on this. What a parade of farkin' idiots. They had a psychologist who was trying to explain the mob mentality. She should have just said that they were a bunch of farkin' morons and that there is no excuse. One girl showed that she was wearing her Jordans out of the store, at which point I pictured her walking out into the parking lot of our fine local mall and being shot.
