As someone who bathed his two retrievers yesterday, I'm getting a kick.....

None of us had as much fun as this dog.

When I gave my horse a bath I would tell people it's like washing a car, except the car fights back....

Oh, you should try that, uh, that stuff...that they, uh,...that they have for that.

As someone who'll be bathing 2 dogs in about an hour, I'm getting a kick out of this.

The cat does not like taking bath.

Nothing like bathing my 15 pound cat. Nothing at all.

Cat bathing is ok, after five minutes they are too exhausted to fight back. Damn skunks.
Even my labradors hate a bath, but a swim in skanky zero degree bog water? Good times!

Favourite story was when my Dad let the dog off the leash while out walking and she ran into a field and rolled in very fresh cow dung. Came back just as happy as ever. Let me tell you she didn't enjoy the bath afterwards as it was cold water out of the garden hose and then into the tub. She's been dead for ten years and he's still going on about that incident.

Is she hot?

sorry, slow everything day here.

As someone who just washed a mastiff, I getting a kick out of these replies.

The real scandal: that is a yellow lab, not a golden retriever. Golden retrievers have long hair.

Yahoo!'s front page has a story about Beyonce's "wild" leggings....that are just animal print....slow news day indeed

I had a golden retriever several years ago. She LOVED water and would jump into a nearby drainage canal if she was off the leash. She would emerge covered in mud and algae and would need a very thorough bath. She didn't mind the baths, but I certainly did.

/ As you might expect, she didn't get off the leash very often if we were near the canal.

Paralyzed with fear or likes baths? You decide.

I would think she'd prefer a shower.

I wish my cats did this. Or that for indoor cats they wouldn't get into so much stuff that they require baths. One or the either.

/Never had to bath my outdoor cats growing up
//I still remember the flour incident in my nightmares

Thats a Good Dog!

I once. Just ONCE tried to bathe out Berner in a bathtub - she was way to dumb for that, panicked and ended up on her back....unable to get up...it was not as funny as it sounds now...after that it was hose outside ya dumb dog! Coulda been warm water. And she had to be bathed at least every two weeks with medicated 'poo.

It really needs a bath because it smells like a white person after it's been out in the rain. I'm white so I can get away with saying that. Not you, because you're a racist cracker.
