I see the Irish have been at the Wikipedia.

As an English person, I find this exceedingly amusing.

/and depressingly true

And the problem is????
2011-12-23 11:00:44 AM

Finds this morally inoperative.

The funny thing about this is, the more people report about it, the more people click on the "offensive" word making it higher and higher in the rankings. Making it harder for google to remove it.

C U Next Tuesday.

The second link for "define an American person" is about international arms trafficking, so they got that right.

A program for looking up ethnically appropriate curse words on the Internet....
My life has changed forever!

bhcompy: It's the same for "Define a british person". Ouch.

I blame that on the English relentlessly equating "English" and "British". So if you're Cornish, Welsh, Scottish, or a Channeler and you ever get called that, remember to give the next South-easterner you see a thank you and a punch for their trouble.

Theory Of Null: define English women

/Waiting for the aghast-at-everything to ruin the fun

First of all - that is a very stupid thing to search for.

Second - It is a vague search that is going to show all sorts of answers

Third - who goes looking for these things?

Now that's a 'orrible coont.
2011-12-23 12:20:45 PM
By my life, this is my lady's hand these be her very C's, her U's and her T's and thus makes she her great P's. It is, in contempt of question, her hand.
2011-12-23 12:21:45 PM
In all fairness I can understand the confusion:

I can't take much more of this. But I will add this hun coont, even though he isn't English. He plays in England and that is close enough.

And this non-english hun coont has restaurants in England. Close enough.

Now I am going to go purge my thoughts of these grotesque wankers.

I get the Streisand Effect, thanks for asking.

Tyrone Slothrop: The second link for "define an American person" is about international arms trafficking, so they got that right.

Er, that is actually about ITAR regulations... providing limits on the trafficking of arms.

And where are these hunts located?

"berkeley hunt" OR "berkshire hunt"
2011-12-23 12:32:34 PM

Not so sure about English, but this is a textbook example of a British person with an example of a textbook.

My definition
2011-12-23 12:52:58 PM
It's all a horrible misunderstanding.

President Obama was leaving for a tour of the United Kingdom. As he was first departing Buckingham Palace he waved goodbye to the Queen and said he would see her on Monday. She replied, "No, I'll see you next Tuesday."

2011-12-23 12:59:19 PM
Hmmm didn't work for me. Does safe search need to be off or something?
2011-12-23 01:04:57 PM
Holy crap, THIS thread popped up!

Now that's creepy.

Beware of any man, english or otherwise, who owns a pig farm.

It's quickly becoming a list of articles talking about the original result.
2011-12-23 04:27:30 PM
FARK is now the fifth result from Google to pop up on this search.

Now what does that say about all you people?

DammitIForgotMyLogin: As an English person, I find this exceedingly amusing.

As do I.
2011-12-23 09:36:43 PM
Well, it doesn't seem to be too hard to see why. That is a horrible Wiki. The word "English" appears in it just about every fifth word. It's all middle English this and middle English that and yada yada yada. There's probably not another web page that exists in all of the tubes that uses that word that much. How could it NOT be the number one result?
2011-12-24 02:14:54 AM
Gob, get rid of the Seaward.

(I'm standing right here)

/ yes, mangled it I'm sure.

I've been to London. I'd say the definition is spot on.
