The greatest misconception about communication is that communication actually happened. More than likely, you vomited out a bunch of words and they heard: "DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

2011-12-23 12:31:22 AM
this is important

2011-12-23 12:44:07 AM
GAT_00: Yeah, those news anchors sounded real shocked there.

It's Henry DiCarlo, no one was shocked.

2011-12-23 12:51:42 AM
The weather dude and those first two anchors are all douchebags.

2011-12-23 01:22:07 AM
Someone didn't get his fudge packed the way he liked it.

2011-12-23 03:40:13 AM
I think he covered both subjects very well and in more depth than most reports considering the time that was alloted him.

It didn't look like he stormed out to me. Wasn't his time just up?

2011-12-23 03:47:19 AM
douchebag is lucky to have a job. i bet he wont after this.

2011-12-23 03:48:25 AM
Seemed like the whole station is full of unprofessional cockbags..

2011-12-23 04:30:00 AM
why are weather broadcasters always the biggest divas on news broadcasts?

2011-12-23 04:42:15 AM
fark IT WE'RE DOING IT LIVE

2011-12-23 05:39:18 AM
Where's the follow-up? Did he get shiat-canned?

2011-12-23 08:14:51 AM
snobs.

Seems like most of the news folks here in the dallas area all have a good time pokin fun at each other on air, not to mention we have some cute weather and traffic chicks.

No, the shortened time he was given for the actual weather was what he used to whine.

"Don't get him more angry"

That's right folks. Fear the wrath of the weatherman. FEAR HIM!!!!!

That's only if Nicolas Cage is your weatherman.

Meh - he'll just update his reel (sans pissy-fit) and shop to a higher market. That's all the on-air types do... I'm surprised any of them buy houses or otherwise put down roots - they're constantly moving to a larger market share audience. But, yeah - there's something that happens to some types when the camera hits them - gives them a bloated sense of value and they tend to throw temper tantrums.

/worked with quite a few of them

2011-12-23 09:37:50 AM
He is on air right now so he did not get fired.

/looked staged....

2011-12-23 09:45:51 AM
Did he just refer to himself as "the talent"?

Absolutely. And just as soon as someone can come up with a bigger market than Los Angeles I bet he's heading for greener pastures.

I guess he could go to NYC, but who would leave the shiathole in sunny SoCal for THAT shiathole?

2011-12-23 10:22:06 AM
How will I know what the weather in Los Angeles will be though.
It could be nice. Or what if it was nice. Maybe it will be nice. Oh god it's a nice day.
Alll of theese possibilities - my head is spining.

/now if only I could figure out what its gonna be like in San Diego. I wonder?

2011-12-23 10:39:02 AM
FIRE HIS ASS.
I had plenty of time to read the on-screen weather report out-loud while he was biatching.
He had plenty of time.

and, What a girl.

That gave me a chuckle.

That was not staged. He looked/sounded legitimately pissed off, and probably with good reason. There's lots of stuff that happens like that. Those places can feel like a boiler room. The two anchors acting like 90's high school girls didn't help though.

When the director says in the weatherman's ear that "we are out of time to do the weather forecast", well some weathermen lose it.

/Whars my map???? What the f*ck do you mean we are skipping the next 4 maps and going direct to long range outlook? Well piss off and time for a 1 week vacation tomorrow, ass-holes.

That was about the weakest "fit" I've ever seen.

I do think it's a bad idea to send the weatherguy out for a story, though, unless it's weather related.

This... Only NY is bigger...

Have fun in Elko NV Mr. pissy weatherman.

Fark KTLA. It's not staged, but every anchor there thinks it's their personal platform to grandstand and audition on to secure the rights to the next Regis & Kelly. So annoying.

No, who's the cute asian gal who covered for the weather-reader-dude at the end of the clip? I'd let her check my temperature probe.

You're a weatherman on the local news, get over yourself.

2011-12-24 12:32:28 AM
The 2 assholes in the studio (esp. the guy) were far more annoying than the weatherman.
